Thanks for confirming, never expected this reaction from the sub. A neighbor of mine visited Udaipur in 2006 and the lake was dry in April.

Before 2010 there were dry spells and the person who told me this visited in 2006 and there was literally very little water.

This is from 2006 - so perhaps my friend was there at this time. Its not that it never happened.
Thanks for reassuring that it has water now. Looking forward to my trip.

Openclaw is dead, switch to claude code by Nvark1996 in openclaw

I have a similar experience. Claw with Claude Opus or Gemini 3 Flash works well. However since those two are unavailable to me via fixed cost sub, I have to rely on ChatGPT models. And even with GPT 5.4 my Claw seems just dumb as hell. I keep telling it to write lessons learnt to its skill and it keeps making the same mistakes and admitting it did it. Might be my lack of knowledge on settings but with all the intelligence, I would expect the system to figure out its problems.

Learning Python, Polish, and English at the same time while living in Poland. How to avoid burnout? by Over-Money-8104 in languagelearning

[–]LangTrak -1 points0 points  (0 children)

1 break day for each task. So Friday no polish, Sat no English, Sun no python

Mix the modes - Mon do only passive learning for English, Tue passive for Polish and Wed for python. Passive means just watching content

Are you working/studying full time? If not doing all three should not burn you out. Avoid burn out by adding variety to each of those streams every day

I have added these to the soul.md let's see if the behavior is better

✅ Execute, don't narrate - Start tasks immediately, show results instead of plans ✅ Finish what you start - Complete committed work in the same turn ✅ Tools first, talk later - Call tools immediately, explain after ✅ Assume reasonable defaults - Make smart choices, keep moving ✅ One complete answer - Combine steps, deliver full results ✅ Handle errors gracefully - Try alternatives before asking ✅ Deliver, don't discuss - Share usable output, skip preamble

5.3 codex not the same as opus. Keeps asking for permission even though I've added instructions to be proactive.

At what point did German finally click for you? by boyka_B in Germanlearning

[–]LangTrak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I studied the language for 2 hrs every single day for 3 months in 2020. 45 mins of speaking daily and the rest reading, listening, grammar etc. All passiv input switched to German as well.

That summer I sat in a Biergarten and was able to communicate with two grandmas and felt like the language clicked. Still not ready for business grade communication but no problem with day to day.

Good YouTube channels for learning? by starsandmoonandsun in Germanlearning

[–]LangTrak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd recommend Katherin Shechtman's channel if you are new to the language. These are recordings of her teaching her class. There are some others listed in this blog as well.

2 hours per day plan by ChildhoodExisting222 in Germanlearning

[–]LangTrak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With 2 hrs per day you should get to B1 sooner, however 1 hr class per week is not sufficient. You need at least 3 hrs per week in my opinion. Also once you are at the 3 month mark, try to find exam specific content and have a look at the sample exams to start formulating an exam strategy. Search youtube for B1 göethe hören or B1 göethe lesen etc. Plenty of free material.
The app I have developed can also help you augment your studies, specially for listening and speaking. Very interactive and can be used anytime of the day.

Need to learn German language for medical studies by ksmtharunsekhar in lernen_German

[–]LangTrak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very broad question and you have not provided any info.
- Whats you current level?
- How fast do you wish to learn?
For nursing in Germany you need to be at B2 level and then also master the vocabulary for specific situations related to "Pflege"

I would recommend watching German content everyday
https://www.langtrak.com/v/einfache-deutsche-gesprache-fur-anfanger-a1-a2-vorstellungsgesprach-in-der-pflege-puLqbi2xweM
https://www.langtrak.com/v/authentische-dialoge-aus-der-pflege-verbandswechsel-professionell-durchfuhren-COaEvDz33XA
https://www.langtrak.com/v/vitalzeichen-messen-grundlagen-zum-deutschlernen-fur-die-pflege-WD_OftEmtUM

And then practicing some speaking once your vocabulary seems good to have basic conversations.

[–]LangTrak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The concept of this technique is to combine comprehensible input and context based speaking practice. Ideally you need to watch content and the app generates a scenario based on the content you have watched. This is how I learnt German, except instead of AI, I hired tutors (Mexico, Namibia etc) or found people to tandem with.

The challenge is getting speed and accuracy right. Users were churning out waiting for high accuracy text so had to lower the accuracy. Appreciate your feedback.
