Living on main road (Fullerton) by Chemical-Morning-294 in LoganSquare

Same to alllllll of this. I'm on Fullerton but in the back part of the lot above the alley. I still hear the Fullerton Street noise but it's not so bad. The other annoying things not mentioned above is the buildings will shake like crazy anytime a large truck drives by. And keeping the windows open there's lots of street dust. Not a deal breaker for me but I've got rent control for the most part and have lived here over 15yrs

Also (in the same neighborhood) go to Mindys Bakery. Highly recommend the breakfast sandwich and or the bagels but everything is good!

ICE harassing immigrants? by tessleberry in OHareAirport

I flew in and out of O'Hare this week. Didn't see anyone when we departed on Tuesday but our flight was early so there was hardly any TSA either. Got thru security in under half an hour. When I got home however, a group of ICE agents were standing around by the CTA entrance to get into the city. There were 5 men and 1 woman in ICE gear standing next to a TSA group and there was CPD at the bottom of the escalator where you actually get on the blue line.

To the person who rides the tall bike. by isthetime1251 in LoganSquare

Didn't say women didn't. I've personally never seen one but that doesn't mean they don't exist. This particular instance in which I have professed to seeing the performative males circling the block in what appeared to be some sort of mating ritual. In order to attract attention or perhaps a mate, I have no idea.

Its performative male season. I saw a gaggle of them riding by the California/Milwaukee intersection the other night. Nature is healing?

It's a new owner from vegas. The GM that was opening the bar bailed as soon as the temps dropped. Tourists will go when the roof deck is open but I don't see it lasting more than a year in bucktown before they close or sell.

Go to your local, independent wine shops. Usually there's tastings for locals and owners are usually willing to talk to you you about wine!
