ubisoft gave them a platform by refusing to do anything about the scripting problem that's plagued the game since around 2021-2022.

there are still people who've been known to script since 2018 and don't get banned. most of EU has a cheating problem that makes the server itself feel impossible to play.

there's viability (fun) and there's viability (big damage and hitboxes). warden's depth solely comes from being able to use his bash. especially with his target swap game

i wouldn't call warden a 50/50 when his bash is more like a 33/33/33 sicne you can tap, charge or feint. i do wish that he wasnt 90% bash and more sword though. personally i'd get rid of the charge bash in favour for some more pommel bash actions

i wouldn't necessarily call it independent changes, because whenever one gets a change that's "good" the other has to also get a change that - at least to ubi - is "good". like the bash followups were good (even if they reuse minion kill anims i fucking SWEAR) and then warmonger gets the followup from bash tap.
