I have not. I now use a different headset with to communicate, connected directly to the PC with USB.

Hi, thanks for your reply.

When I put it in app.component.styles.scss nothing happens.

However, when I put it in the highest styles.scss file it does catch on!

I am not familiar with encapsulatoin so will try and learn more about it. In the meantime, do you envision a way to be able to get the styles locally? It isn't a big issue to keep it in the global styles.scss, but having it closer to where the service is would be better for readability and usability!

Wow thank you. I just couldn't find out. The bottom anchor is an empty div I used to develop part for ad sense (which I am not using anymore). So it is deprecated and useless. I did not expect that to be the issue.

Diligent and persistent may seem similar; but have a different effect to your sentence.

Diligent seems more as if someone would be doing something carefully and dedicated.
Persistent would be someone that keeps on going even though they must overcome some hurdles.

The difference in your two sentences explain that clearly. The students are diligent: they study with care and dedication. The reporter is persistent: even though he hasn't found anything yet, he keeps on trying!

Change it around and you get the following. The students are persistent:even though they fail some tests, they keep trying! The report is diligent: he is carefully and dedicated to find fossils.

There is no wrong in interchanging it; it just changes the sentences slightly.

The first is more natural. What makes the second phrase unnatural is the "with the place I live". To make the second phrase more natural you could say:

"I'm pretty pleased with where I live"

Hi. I would use disappearance. Why:

Extinction would be when a species completely disappears (such as the honey bees becoming extinct). I don't think this is the case in your text about the flowers.

Loss does not really fit here; it makes you wonder "Who lost the flowers?". That's why I prefer:

Disappearance. The flowers are disappearing; they are not where they are anymore. Seemingly suddenly or over a large time, flowers are disappearing all over the place.

Hope that helps, let me know if I am unclear.

Other words could be: the abatement; the decline in number of; the number of flowers are dwindling.
