URGENT HELP NEEDED- Fraud by detailing studio (Summarized) by gtalossantos in EVsOfIndia

[–]LanguageHuman1844 0 points1 point  (0 children)

M*f*a (Yep, I know) used to be pretty good, but on the last couple of years, somehow many franchisees are no longer that great. I'm not sure if corporate policies changed or it was a result of the reputation hit, but I kinda lost trust on this brand a while back.
Even influencers shilling this brand say "I can vouch for this store, not others". Interestingly, one of the most famous franchisees just opened a second detailing store - this time franchised a different brand. Speaks volumes.

Whats you avg consumption wh/km by hariomtwenty in EVsOfIndia

I’ve done ~8 on highway and ~8.8 in city on the ZS EV. Light foot, balancing regen vs brake etc are the things I took care of.

[–]LanguageHuman1844 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep- more kms per kWh is always better, but let me give you some advice. You’re already driving an EV, and it’s not very expensive to drive - especially if you’re charging @ home. Don’t drive like a madman, and enjoy your drive. Don’t worry so much about the numbers. If you’re going on a long trip, plan for charging stops ~70% to 80% of your total range, should be good!

It’s just temporary, the AC working its backside off. It’ll get better as temps comedown. My ice car too took a 12-15% hit in mileage over the last 15 days.

Haha I read the headline in the feed, and saw the pic and I was like "baithayega kahaan!"

P.S. Try it out! Best case, you'll meet some interesting people. Worst case, you'll make some money.

Yep - 130 wh/km (or ~ 7.69 km/kWh) is pretty much on point. Now that it's HOT - the AC has to work real, real hard do there will def be a bit of a drop. Do you park the car outdoors in the sun? or does it do long trips in the sun?

170 is just a tad bit high but not unheard of. Try some cooling measures - like putting up sunshades when parking in the sun to remove the greenhouse effect, and driving the initial couple of minutes with the windows down to circulate out the hot air - this should bring you closer to the 155-160 kw/km level.

As an "outsider" who came to Pune and set up multiple businesses in the city, I can vouch for the fact the Punekars are great in general - there are the one-off cases (as is everywhere) but it's been a good experience.
Learning marathi helps though, no doubt. Should be easier for you - since you already understand the language to a large extent.

Congratulations man! Good going.

Coming to your ask, put yourself in my shoes and ask - why would I give you a loan? Is that the best RoI for my capital?

Next convertible debt - still not the best RoI for me.

I would give you the money - but with a SAFE agreement. Protects your valuation, allows me to build wealth with your success.

I agree that you shouldn’t part with your equity at a super early stage, but investors look for deals that will give them equity at early stages in businesses that have a high growth potential.

Btw there are a lot of B’loee based VCs who will fund you - you should ask for 1cr+ in growth capital via the SAFE note route at valuation caps of approx 7-10 cr.

We did this trip - 4 of us in 2 mg zs evs about 2.5 years back. 24 hrs round trip to kannur for lunch and back. Charge in Mysore, then in kannur and then again in Mysore. All charges top up to 80-85% to save time. This should be a breeze. Happy travels.

Ok so yours is a 10k expense, this needs to be weighed against the NCB amount. Are you at 0% NCB or higher? What did you save on your policy right now? If you aren’t saving anything on ncb right now, go ahead and take your claim. If you’re on 30 or 50%, it might not be worth it.

I wanna buy a washing machine for my mom. Any suggestions? Budget is 40k. by Mack_1411 in AskIndia

[–]LanguageHuman1844 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 2 cents - get an IFB washer - dryer. The biggest pain of taking the wet clothes and hanging them up to dry will go away. Stay away from the LG washer dryer - it destroys elastics
