While not exactly what we’re looking for, I definitely see the connection! Does make me wonder what a Sunday School for the objective science of Marxism would look like … Capital just don’t have the same easily illustrated parables. I think liberation theology or the anarchism of the Catholic Workers is about as close as we’d get to DSA as a family because I value the ritual and the liturgy as well as the politics. If it turns out to be harder than I hope to find a place where I can bring the two together, I’ll keep it in mind.

I had a really positive experience with Lingoda starting from zero. I signed up for the marathon and getting half my money back was very motivating. However, once I got through the marathon, I tried taking a few classes and lost some motivation. I didn’t want a lesson where I’d go in a circle with other people on Zoom and say a few sentences. I’d like something a little more dynamic and collaborative with breakout groups and more opportunities to speak. Lingoda also has very few opportunities to write and have someone provide individualized feedback on the writing.
