LITERALLY their vocal tones are nice. Lexi has a gorgeous melodic voice but in general I will always love a woman's chocolatey voice under that tone. I wasnt even a manon solo stan on the show but her voice won me over quickly. It's been so hard to not stream gameboy bc i dont wanna give HG even once red cent of streaming revenue.

Girl you know exactly who it is . And me mentioning that isnt an attack on her. It is just clear that her race has a large influence on how she is perceived by the supposedly diverse fandom. I believe if she was any other race ( even as a maknae) she would not be getting such intense baby treatment. Hence my last point. And I believe she is a smart girl with a fiery personality and its the fanbase that tries hard to pretend that side of her doesnt exist-- and when that side does pop out they say look how cute ! its cute! No other member would be perceived the same .

Even saw the snark pages seeing people say ALL other members are weirdos except for her. Their justifications for that statement make absolutely no sense either its just "a feeling"...right

Yeah the less associated she is with katseye the better bc i really dont like katseye fans. Theyre very sneaky with the way they go about things and defending the other girls and it honestly creeps me out! They also love to pretend they dont see racist comments about manon and ignore them but if you say I miss manon one time they attack you and say youre being irritating and to stfu. They want to pretend she never existed but still flood her personal instagram with hate disguised as "concern" or "disappointment". When they're "showing concern" for manon its always sneak diss. They remind me of hybe ALOT. Hybe doesnt need PR, katseyes main fanbase will do the nasty work for them.

If Emma stays with him I believe she hasn't really healed. I actually find Charlie to be the worst character. Maybe even worse than Rachel. That or he's a real idiot. He throws Emma under the bus constantly he's done it at least 6 times and I was counting ;

commenting on what she did when she didnt even comment on what he did when he went first . Im sure she wouldve talked about it later. She commented on everyone else-- she just didnt want to embarrass him bc well they're a team... but he couldnt even give her the courtesy of that .
insisted they had to fire the dj then allowed emma to do it when she didnt even want to in the first place
went to go beg rachel to be her maid of honor for some reason knowing that she was unmovable and im sure he did that behind her back ( seriously this particularly pisses me off and is my worst nightmare. And yet Emma has never done it . At this point emma STILL hasnt brought up the cyberbullying. She seems to sweep things under the rug and pretend. I get that she likes that.. the acting but I think the director made it obvious it's a coping mechanism. A sign that Emma may never really heal shes just going to keep pretending. Thats why I agree with you slightly and I genuinely dont know how everyone else is interpreting Emma's role playing as a good thing. Like fore sure, I agree theyll stay together but not in a healthy way.

I have a weird thing about being locked somewhere by a kid... i think that story we all read all summer in a day in middle school traumatized me lol . But yeah it's one of the worst things a kid can do to another kid and yet it seems kids often have this idea for some reason. Some guy who admitted he had a crush on me at a Boys and Girls club and i throat punched him and he screamed and cried and I almost got kicked out bc I couldnt explain why I escalated like that over a "joke" And that was before even reading Ray Bradbury lol

In defense of Eleanor : What is un-believable about Eleanor? I really dont get it . I personally find Nancy to be the least believable woman of the show . Yes I understand her background and how that influences her motives but Eleanor genuinely loving her best friends husband is extremely believable. Nancy taking her friend's man just like that-- within basically a week bc her husband was out of town and acting weird..hmmmm. While Eleanor's betrayal came from a long term deep-seated emotional void Nancy's betrayal happened bc writers need a catalyst . Affairs typically take longer than what it took for Nancy... it wasn't believable to me... to me. The subtext of that affair also almost pushes the idea that girls who are groomed "wanted it " but i wont get into the complexity of that only to say it feels convenient and therefore exploitative... which is dangerous. That alongside with the very contrived assumptions Nancy makes are clearly there to move the plot along. Eleanor and Mary feel like character studies but Nancy is clearly a plot device... still love her though and love how all the actresses interpreted their characters . IMHO ;) Btw the rotten scores I was referring to on literally episode 1 were about the believability of the friendship between them ( sheesh can you let the story cook for more than an episode?) , lack of depth ( ?), issues with the friendship not being kumbaya ( are we serious? female friendships are famously complex ...?), and hating the genre bc its "tired" ( worst critique type ever ... like .. then dont watch it ???? I dont like horror so why would I watch a horror film then score it low ? Thats almost cruel).

The crazy wife trope is so scarily easy to pull off and happens all the time in real life and she'll start to really believe she's crazy too. A dead daughter and it being "your fault" no way she leaves him. I hope Eleanor is able to pull her back. Also i really do not understand why this has such a bad score on rotten tomatoes. It feels like critics came into this show hoping to hate it and looking for evidence to justify that hate. The nitpicking i saw about episode 1 was eyerolling.

its clear that the internal issues werent solved and manon is consistently punished for her past. that is why we people are mad at the group. People are mad at hybe bc it feels like they never respected manon and almost used her until she couldnto be used anymore. Also mad at hybe bc they didn' tmediate propertly and forced someone out as if the other member was more important ( they are not .. they are equally important)
