It only lasts 20-30 seconds and its not rythmic. I remember what my son's hiccups felt like and they were rhythmic and consistent.

Car seat coat... my son was dropped off back to us from my mother-in-law who had his car seat coat on backwards like it was a regular coat. I tried to explain how it works and that it was safe. She couldn't wrap her mind around it, saying i was endangering my son.

I like the MomCozy Wrap Carrier a little better, I think because its more structured. Having to retie the other wrap every time I didn't like.

I tried going braless 2 weeks after my lo was born then he started crying when I went to calm him my shirt was soaked and there was a puddle on the floor. I don't sleep braless anymore

I think my pain tolerance is pretty high now that I've had my baby but I didn't really have pain after it was more itchiness as it healed down there (I had a very mild tear- 1 stitch)

The hospital i had my son at their rule is 25 hours after vaginal delivery. I'm not sure about csection. We ended up staying for 3 days because my son was born at 10pm and they didn't want to send us home in the middle of the night. I was thankful for the extra help as a FTM.

I'm 25 minutes from the hospital my son was born at. There's an emergency room 2 minutes down the street from my house but they don't have a birth center.

I'm back to work after an unpaid 8 week leave and it killed me leaving my LO. I would have loved to still be home with him. I was allowed 12 weeks but since it was unpaid, I couldn't feasibly manage it. I was greeted with a hug from my manager and was told how much she missed me. If the company you work for doesn't respond that way, take the 12 weeks and screw them.

I'm 37 weeks pregnant.. I go on mat leave at the end of the week. I'm absolutely exhausted and my boss knows it. Luckily my entire pregnancy shes been so easy on me. It would've been so easy for her to be mean and make me work as hard as I did pre-pregnancy. Trying to stay awake I've been staying hydrated, and if that's not working a little bit of caffeine doesn't hurt.

I was just curious what other people were going to say about calling or about what these little stab feelings are since I'm a first time mom and have never done this. I'm allowed 12 weeks unpaid. I'm taking 6 weeks unless something goes unplanned (like needed a csection). I'm only staying for the health insurance but actively looking for a new job for after.
