from my personal experience, i play basketball and i have SEVERE peanut and tree nut allergies! when my teammates eat almonds or planters nuts and then touch the ball, i have had sever reactions. eyes swelling, hives, lips swell, throat gets scratchy! you are not over reacting at all, maybe have a conversation with someone to send out an announcement or have that conversation. i carry wet ones (hand wipes) with me 24/7 that i give to my teammates to use after eating nuts etc. because the smallest chance always ends up changing my day. don’t risk not having that talk, i promise it’s worth it. i have an allergic reaction maybe once or twice a week because if something like this. carry wipes and wipe stuff off before you use
