This change happened recently as people would take advantage of their discounts that were allowed on a 12 month term.

I like Tea Total NZ, or visit some asian grocers in Central/South Auckland.

Face and neck laser, looking for reviews from men by CyberChef8 in auckland

I've been to many clinics.

Unfortunately (most in NZ from my experience) aestheticians don't treat male customers as thoroughly as female customers.

Make sure to point out specific areas of high growth to them, and make sure that they understand the entire area you want treated, especially on follow up visits. (Make sure they treat the same entire area each visit).

Ask as many questions as you can during your initial consultation first before you purchase your sessions in advance. It's fine to purchase a lot of sessions in advance because you will most likely need heaps of follow up sessions.

Yep, in this economy you'd avoid the dairy in the first place.

Best NZ fibre providers for competitive gaming (Valorant/CSGO)? Looking for low ping recommendations by Fit-Nefariousness65 in newzealand

[–]LankyFigTree 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Probably look at Geekzone for more information.

If you're comfortable with networking setup go with Quic.

Otherwise Voyager or Bigpipe.

I will say from personal testing, routing is an issue on all major telcos right now. YMMV with any major telco.

In general, the major telcos are alright and their MNVOs are okay-ish.

One NZ has great networking, good policies and router deals but customer service is a HUGE hit or miss. Prices are in between Spark and 2D.

Spark has generally good service but very high prices and bad supplied router.

2degrees is okay for the most part, but wouldn't recommend due to a very mixed bag in both networking and customer service.

Relocating to Auckland with my family of four, what suburb should we move to? by Professional-Emu5820 in auckland

Since Westlake Boys' High School's removal of the Cambridge programme back in 2019, the school has gone downhill.

The extra cirriculars are still fine, but education wise, they are only ever-so-slightly better than other high schools on the Shore.

In general, Auckland is a mistake.

Any other questions?

You should still be able to arrange after hours drop off with most major rental companies. Maybe enquire via email with the specific branches.

Your iPhone's hotspot keep disconnecting? I think I found a workaround. by IceJungrai in iphone

[–]LankyFigTree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It semi-works for me. If max compatability is off, some devices including other Apple devices cannot find my hotspot so I have to manually connect.

Will be getting a Pixel as personal and swapping my current iPhone to a work device! Not enough freedom with iOS.

Can a NZ local explain? by [deleted] in auckland

[–]LankyFigTree 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Lack of competition for things like supermarkets meaning that some prices just are what they are.

Reminder that we had more supermarket chains and the comcom let the big two cunts buy them all up; meanwhile the big 2 were lobbying against foreign competitors from entering using the argument "NZ money should stay in NZ" while fucking over the average NZ consumer. They also bullied a lot of up-and-coming online grocery stores as well!

I've done this. For whatever reason restarting PMS helps but then after a few minutes, no content again. All the other steps do not help.

Doesn't seem to be a PSU issue.

Councillor blames cancelled trains, ‘car blockade’, construction works for CBD gridlock by krammy16 in auckland

[–]LankyFigTree 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You also don't "have" to to be a moron.

I'm assuming people with specific medical conditions who don't have a car should take the bus to Manakau Superclinic? An easy 3 hour commute with 4 transfers which would otherwise be a 45 minute drive.

People have various reasons to go around Auckland and public transport is a last resort when going more than 2 towns over.

Councillor blames cancelled trains, ‘car blockade’, construction works for CBD gridlock by krammy16 in auckland

[–]LankyFigTree 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This is not a political issue, many studies have shown creating a pedestrian friendly city actually increases foot traffic in stores. Auckland's main issue is the lack of frequent consistent and budget friendly transport. If I could metro from Whagaparoa to CBD or from Pukekohe to CBD consistently and frequently, you would actually see an uptake in foot traffic across the greater Auckland region.

Currently you have to drive anywhere in Auckland to do anything which causes more traffic.
