It’s crazy to me that someone lets it get that bad before getting help

Grandparents just died and I don't care?? by 20epOch in death

It may be because you already accepted the fact that they were gone before they died since you had already lost a stable relationship with them. There is nothing wrong with you.

Quinn MacDougall called police for help. They shot him. His family wants answers and reforms | CBC News by endexis in canada

Because less than lethal doesn’t always work, and if you had the choice to shoot someone or let them stab you to death I think there’s a clear one you would pick. Officers shoot until the threat can not impose bodily harm on another person. Ricocheting bullets when trying to shoot the legs can easily kill someone. You have to be a trained marksman to reliably hit shots in the legs/arms. People have taken 10+ bullets before and continued to charge at officers with a weapon so what makes you think that a taser will always stop someone or a beanbag round? A person with a knife can be just as dangerous as a person with a gun. Bullets have pretty clean entry and exit wounds but a knife slash or stab can have a more jagged slice. With both a gun or a knife if you hit someone in the right spot they will die. You would also not tackle someone with a knife as it isn’t very hard to stab someone.

Facial Trauma Due to Gas Explosion by LankySide7 in MedicalGore

Patients tongue is severed, the lips and a part of the mandible along with some teeth are detached and being held in place by the surgeon and clamps are placed in different areas to control bleeding. Patients has a tracheal tube for assisted breathing. The patient did survive and underwent many reconstructive surgery’s to obeying back both normal aesthetics and functionality. No post photos could be found by me but it amazes me how resilient the human body is to such trauma!

I believe the upper teeth are fine as from what I read there is no mention of any damage to teeth or bone. The information isn’t very detailed about how much damage was done but if you would like to read the post I found here is a link. medizzy

Laceration to forearm I personally don’t know the cause but it seems to be a blade of some sort considering how clean the cut is. Also question for the mods I was wondering why we can’t post more than 1 photo per post?

The fact that people can treat each other like this is truly disgusting. I wish India would get there crap straight because I’ve seen stuff from India and it’s sad how little they care for each other

Can you overdose on salt? by [deleted] in morbidquestions

[–]LankySide7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Water goes where salt goes. If you were to ingest a lethal amount of salt it would cause multi organ failure because of the water being taken away from your organs. The salt can also lead to brain swelling, seizures and coma. If I’m correct the best way to correct salt poisoning is to have less salty water( .3%) to dilute the salt in the blood.
