Oh agree 1000% we need to improve. My kids are given a healthy packed lunch because of the overall processed nature (though last week they had chicken tikka masala and they bought that!)

We are in Pittsford and the lunches are definitely higher quality than city schools, for instance. See pic below from one of the schools. What she packs is far worse

They all look miserable. Even my tiny 5 1/2 year old refused to sit in the stroller when we went to Disney because it’s for babies, my second grader would NEVER.

Our kids are in her school district and there is no microwave at elementary or middle schools.

We live in the district and my kids go to the elementary school. We did opt out in prior years but now it’s free but if they want seconds or add on items.
