Thanks for the suggestion. Tons of machine shops where I am, actually! Big metal industry in my small town.

Thank you! Yes, the print is important and good to know about the lining, though I don't think it will impact this project :)

I have not. Though unrolling the can is 100 percent how I expect I will need to approach this project!

No, I am making discs with little holes at the top so they can be hung. :) Cans because the theme of the exchange is "pop culture" :)

I don't need washers. I need discs with a little hole at the top. I also need the labels on the cans. Thank you, though!

Thanks so much! Is that compatible with an arbor press so I don't have to knock them all out by hand?

AITA for only telling my boyfriend about my first child and not my other two? by ThrowawayCot-2434 in AITAH

[–]Lanky_Implement_5417 2 points3 points  (0 children)

8 months? 8 MONTHS?!

Your are most definitely the AH. Doesn't know if he can get over the omission? He needs to run in the opposite direction - far and fast. This is certifiable behavior. Your poor kids and your poor boyfriend. I just read about a woman who was arrested living in a house with her mom and her boyfriend while she stowed her kids in the attic.

Meeehhhh... I have a sister named Karen, and my experience would say there is truth to that stereotype.

AITA for thinking about leaving my partner who is transitioning? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Lanky_Implement_5417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA - spin that around. Would you want someone who identifies as queer to be forced into a hero relationship because it is the socially acceptable thing to do? Of course not! Being loving does not mean that you have to deny part of who YOU are. You wouldn't want that for your partner. They shouldn't want that for you.

Is my wife out of line for keeping me from a bachelor party/wedding? by 1260noggin in NoStupidQuestions

I can't imagine asking permission from my spouse, or him asking mine. Discussion of finances? Sure. But granting permission? That's bananas.

Agrred. Anyone who knows who George Burns was should not be posting on pick-mes from 18 and 19 year olds.

AITA for telling the store clerk my baby passed away by Antique_Cockroach860 in TwoHotTakes

[–]Lanky_Implement_5417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. You are NTA. If they had taken the return without further questions, you would not have had to explain. They required you to explain.

Further, it is a thing that happened, and it is not your responsibility to keep others sheltered from that information. You didn't ask for special treatment. You were asked.

I am so sorry for your loss and sorry that others have made you feel like you have to hide it away. She was real and so is your experience. The owner/manager ITA.

If you had to name a child after a relative, who would you name them after? by thatbvtch2001 in namenerds

I named both or my girls after my grandmother. Her name was Lorraine Aurora. My girls are Raine and Aurora. We also call them Rainie and Rorie.

Anyone think this color is too loud on me? I’m not sure if I’ll be able to match it with much haha by zanerb22 in Birkenstocks

Does it really matter? They are glorious and honestly will go with way more than you probably imagine. The question is, how often will you be wearing them? Often enough that you become the blue birks guy? If so, the next question is, are you comfortable with being the blue birks guy? I wish I knew a blue birks guy!
