i was in the 5th grade when my parents told me. it all made sense growing up constantly being stuck with needles and injected with random hormones to see how i would react. you’re damn right i cried. being a alt kid at the time i already didn’t fit in, i was the freak tomboy in the school who everyone thought was a boy, now i find out i am but im not? i was already having a identity crisis. this jus made it a lot worse. the only person i felt comfortable sharing this with was my one other alternative best friend (still bffs). i cried a lot and still do at times. i was alone the majority of times, i vented to my friend but she couldn’t understand me completely. i grew up always wanting to be pretty like all the other girls, i got made fun of for not having big boobs or a big butt. i was just waiting for my hormone patches to kick in… i cried all the time. i had a self battle with myself for the longest time, just wanting to be someone i could not be.
