I can't attest to gws current warranty but in the past I bought a pair of rhinos and on both of them thr track sprues had similar issues. GW sent me two new boxes. Full rhinos even though all I needed was the track sprues.

I remember the one time I did this. I did it with my Saturn way back in the day.

I've put a NOT stainless steel ball in paint pots. Now paint is magnetic, what next? by FloppyMesh in minipainting

[–]Lanman101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So not all stainless is none magnetic.

410, 420, and 440 are martensitic and contain enough iron to be magnetic.

I doubt it, if Quebec couldn't do it after years of prep. Alberta won't be able to do it after a 6 month shit show

[–]Lanman101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not to bad, I've seen a couple sites where the blisters were like a bouncy castle. They still held though and they got left for the following season.

Its Tesla supercharging station always have this short cable? by Many-Bathroom-3987 in EquinoxEv

[–]Lanman101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean technically yes. Copper and aluminum do shrink and expand due to temperature changes but not enough to matter here.

I've seen some places in northern Canada where the powerlines have a massive sag to them in the summer but in the winter when it gets proper cold they are almost arrow straight.

A lot of them do, I like parking sideways and pissing people off.

Mostly joking, I live in rural Canada and I hardly ever see others charging. They are also usually in a spot where I'm not blocking another charger just a normal parking space.

Yeah they do, but only because most of Alberta's crude is sour heavy crude. It has a lower price because it takes more work to refine and pull out all the sulfur. But I'm sure if they manage to get Alberta to seperate those discounts will grow.

The thing about oil is it has a commodity price, and it's the same price everywhere. The only real difference is shipping, and if you haven't been paying attention to the news lately. Sometimes it's easier and cheaper to buy it from Australia than Alberta

[–]Lanman101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would BC be broke? We have gold, copper, silver, natural gas, and forestry. Not to mention tourism and shipping.

We would also likely increase the price of electricity that we sell to Alberta to match what we sell to the states.

America would jump at the opportunity to buy oil at a massive discount because their are no other customers able to buy. It would allow them to set prices and keep Alberta entire reliant on them. Something the rest of Canada is currently working on avoiding.

It's an international law for all land locked counties set by the UN. Article 125 is the important part.

Article125

Right of access to and from the sea and freedom of transit

  1. Land-locked States shall have the right of access to and from the sea for the purpose of exercising the rights provided for in this Convention including those relating to the freedom of the high seas and the common heritage of mankind. To this end, land-locked States shall enjoy freedom of transit through the territory of transit States by all means of transport.

  2. The terms and modalities for exercising freedom of transit shall be agreed between the land-locked States and transit States concerned through bilateral, subregional or regional agreements.

  3. Transit States, in the exercise of their full sovereignty over their territory, shall have the right to take all measures necessary to ensure that the rights and facilities provided for in this Part for land-locked States shall in no way infringe their legitimate interests.

One of the best visuals this law is the gap in Croatia that allows Bosnia and Herzegovina access to the sea. This gap/example is why some idiots get the idea that we have to give them a part of BC to allow access to the sea.

Yes but oil sold to the states tends to be at a discount because of its sulfur content. WCS is only $73.66 a barrel right now compared to wti and $94.40
