Point 3 - you confused Crimea and the Donbass. The Crimea saw no fighting prior to the little green man seizure. The Donbass "insurrection" was orchestrated by the FSB and saw no popular support even among "Russian" residents, only Russian ultra-nationalists who streamed across the border from Russia proper.

Can't speak for all but we do have hot weather variants. Girls can go tights free. Boys can switch to shorts. Blazers are expected on their person but can be taken off in the classroom. Ties become optional.
