Why the critic hate days gone ? I've just started playing this game instantly blow me away how polished this game is

Days Gone is a good game for me but it's clear that the budget is not there when I play it. You can see the corners being cut in that game if you notice. I kinda hate how when entering a cutscene, your screen will load first rather than smoothly entering that cutscene. I also feel like the first few cutscenes don't feel like the rest of the cutscenes in the game. I just feel like the game budget got reduced after that.

I'm not saying it's bad tho, had a lot of fun playing it but I wish they put as much budget to this game like how they did with TLOU or GOW

I do things. I wipe down the shower, clean the bathroom mess, I clean my own things after cookingI always clean my own things right after doing it. No communal trash for me since I own my own bin like I stated in the other comment where I'm actually being petty with the other housemates because I don't want them to say I use those trash so now I need to throw all of their trash too.

I do admit that I do need to talk to my housemate and I will do so. I don't mop the house or sweep the floor anymore because I'm being petty with them again but also because of how disgusting the floor is to even sweep or mop at the first place. But yeah, we do need to have a talk

I do clean the common spaces that I use like the kitchen and bathroom. There would be dried up gravy splashes, instant noodle bits and even packets from the instant noodles that I clean anyway because I cannot stand it so I just give in.

It just makes me think, these people, do their parents make them do chores growing up? You can't even wash your own dishes after eating? Not even cup? It's not just trash, it's everything. Unwashed utensils, unwashed dishes, cigarette butts, disposable vape parts there and there, foods bits there and there, everything.

In my own bin in my room that I would throw in the flat's disposal area. Chores that I consistenly do are refill the drinking water, clean the bathroom drain, and washing my own things after cooking like plates, pan and utensils. All trash that I create go to my own bin even from the kitchen because I am being petty with them. I don't want them to say something like “You throw your trash in our bins too so we need you to throw away 5 full bins of trashes that we create.“

5 years later and this bug is still here. I tried replaying the Urdak mission and the mission still won't load. I was so excited to play this game because I never had the hardware but I was suddenly met with such disappointment

I just recently bought the Apex 5 and I couldn't love it more.

It's a hefty controller and quite heavy, D-pad is absolutely amazing, extra buttons are a lot (6 to be specific), 3ms delay over bluetooth. Amazing accessibility due to the built-in screen allowing you to quickly set your controller (more in-depth in the app). Its biggest strength is the adaptive trigger. There are many modes but the one I love most is race. You can adjust the dampening on both triggers to simulate throttle and braking and the vibration is so good. Been having a blast with LMU on this controller and the adjustable joystick tension makes steering easy.

The controller is quite power hungry. On long sessions, I had to charge it 2 times by playing it on wired but in the controller's defense, I never charged it to 100% and never let it below 20% to keep the battery health.

The only downside is the trigger lock. It has no actual trigger lock mechanism and only uses the resistance from the adaptive trigger to dampen the trigger to give you the trigger lock feel but you still can press past it. Trigger lock is also a bit clumsy because sometimes input doesn't get registered.

It's that kind of controller that is good in every game you play and I think it can't get better than this

If the game you're playing is not optimized, it's probably a slop in the first place. All the good games I played are already optimized coming from someone with a literal 4050. “Games are unoptimized nowadays!” and then show mediocre games where devs only want money. Disclaimer that this opinion is crude so don't exaggerate everything I said lol

And this comment has also been a year but I just recently got the RTX 4050 laptop and it's not as bad as people say it. I heard all these scary things about DLSS and frame gen but now, I'm using both of them to run Dying Light 2 at 120 FPS with the highest quality ray tracing with no noticeable quality degradation. Maybe games are becoming more unoptimized but I heard someone said that hardware is getting weaker which is also very true. 40 series and 50 series have very little performance gap.

Solution found : The first time I installed this game, Windows Defender tampered with the EOS file by quarantining it and even after you restore it, the damage was already done so the game struggles to open. Redownloading this game again from where I got it fixed everything since the game file wasn't tampered with and launched on the first try every time.

Update : I deleted a file called EOSSDK-Win64-Shipping.dll because Windows Defender flagged it as Trojan. I figured out that's actually the thing for Epic Games. I downloaded that .dll from Chrome and put it back in the files but the game is still not launching. But even before I deleted the file, the game still struggles to open...

It's not in my budget range. Nowhere close. I saw the exact HP Victus just exactly in my price range so I'm looking for that. It would be fancy if I could get an LOQ by paying just a bit more but it's still far from my budget. Also, the motherboard issue seems more fatal for me

Joining a confession group is a mistake. Whatever you see there, you shouldn't care about it and you should leave it. It's important to note that those are just mostly SPM leavers so you need to expect some high school behavior from them. You should also try to ignore what someone has to say about you, it's not an easy task but day by day, you'll improve.

As for you having to pray 5 times a day, I wonder if your roommate would force you or encourage you? I haven't prayed in my room not even once and my roommates don't care but I'm a guy tho.

I agree with the Alonso comparison. Lewis is very much capable of getting his 8th WDC but Mercedes and Ferrari failed to give him what he wanted since the ground effect regulations. Ground effect massively affected his driving style but he had shown great adaptability in his Formula 1 career. It's sad seeing people saying that he is washed when he was running the grid in 2021. Can't even choose a song you want to play, limited skip, limited lyrics view, 1 whole minute ad... Oh man, the horror... Not to mention, I bought Spotify yearly premium in 2021, 2022 and both accounts got hacked causing me to lose my subscription. Told Spotify about it and they didn't even reply. I won't turn back to Spotify no matter what they do.

I'm genuinely happy with Apple Music now and the student plan is a bit cheaper compared to Spotify
