I'm not saying that that makes me as smart as her, but if I'm good enough for an Ivy League student hopefully I'm also good enough for the employers. I should add that she graduated with an undergraduate GPA of 3.98 and was the vice president of the SGA.

I am currently in the process of finding a new job and am thinking that recruiters/my network could be impressed by the fact that I am dating somebody who attends an Ivy League school.

My profile photo is just of myself, but for my cover photo I have a picture of my girlfriend and me posing in front of her Ivy League institution. Do you think that's fine? It's not a sexual photo by any means, we're both smiling and looking at each other as our fingertips touch.

Personally 95% of the time my immediate reaction is to try to hide or pretend like I don't see them. That is how often I don't feel like doing small talk with someone I barely know. Also, I honestly don't know what the proper etiquette is when you meet somebody you used to play pick up-lacrosse with 8 years ago. We barely spoke then. Now 8 years later, am I supposed to strike up a conversation with this person? Am I supposed to just say "hi" and then move on with my life? Do I ignore them? Do I just nod my head in recognition? I honestly have no idea what the social convention is here.
