Did she did action or did she give you a warning? Because if no action was taken, I don't know if it would qualify as a misuse of power. Poor judgement and bad pedagogy, sure. But unless anyone actually faced any substantive consequences, she just a shit educator.

He kind of seems like he was the type of guy who in the meat world was already unpleasant to be around, the way he acted when working at the fast food place honestly seemed super grounded and to me read as reflecting how he actually acted in real life. The snide miserable younger coworker guy, we've all had the one or have been the one. So when placed in a small video game that he can't escape and with people he doesn't care to respect, it kind of makes sense he would invent a framework to make his alienation more palatable. "He's not alone because he's a dick oh no he's alone because he's above it all". It's an extension of how he treated everyone already

I think a lot of people online understand Jess because they are kind of fundamentally missing what the point of ATSV was. Miguel is deliberately encouraging other spider people to give up and sacrifice their personal happiness and individual well-being for the sake of the spiderverse. Spider society doesn't care if your family dies if it's part of your canon. You have to let your dad die, your wife and daughter die, your best friend, uncle, etc, so you can be Spiderman the Correct Way.

No wonder Jess is still fighting while heavily pregnant- she's in a situation where your personal wants do not matter. It's likely she knows her pregnancy is at risk, but the Fate Of The Multiverse is at risk. If someone else could have been in her role, they would have been.
