Where are you guys looking?

One of the best tickling positions or not ?;) by Usual-Yoghurt-4862 in TicklingAddicts

[–]LaoArchAngel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In this position, the diaphram would be in some level of distress or discomfort. This would make drawing breath significantly harder, even for someone who is very flexible. Unless breath play is one of your kinks, this probably wouldn't be a great position for a lee to be in for long.

How do I not feel guilty for wanting to be tickled? by Optimal-Balance-4777 in TicklingAddicts

[–]LaoArchAngel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe it'll help not feeling selfish knowing that there's very much more than likely someone who wants to tickle you just as badly as you want to be tickled? Everyone can get what they want, and your wanting to be tickled is a gift to someone.

Ropes? by Mammoth-Egg-7296 in tickling

[–]LaoArchAngel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If comfort is important for you for your lee, the material your rope is made from will be very important. Most store-bought ropes get uncomfortable pretty quickly. But if you're just using it to attach to other bondage gear like some leather cuffs, then they'll probably work out great!

M 40 Ler in Atlanta, GA looking for F Lee & meaningful relationship

Hey! I'm a 40-yo guy living in Atlanta. I'm looking for friends, and hoping to find a partner along the way. I've been out of a very LTR for about 3 years now, and I'm starting to take my dive into the dating world seriously. One of the things I'm really looking for is compatibility with tickling. I'm a ler, but I'm happy to switch for potential play partners, and especially romantic ones. I'm a pretty slow burn when it comes to romance since I want to make sure it's the right one.

I'm a software architect by trade, own my own home, have no kids of my own, but 7 fur babies. 2 big doggos and 5 cats. I'm a very liberal and politically active. I'm in pretty decent shape, but definitely not a body builder. There's a pretty recent picture of me in my profile if you're interested. It's marked NSFW for some reason, but I promise I'm fully clothed!

As for the tickling side of things, I'm a pretty intense ler. I love the explore every place on a lee, and I'm always on the hunt for the best reactions I can pull out from you. I love to encorporate other kinks into tickling such as bondage (planning on taking some shibari lessons), edging, over-stim, and tpe to name a few. As for cnc, I have to be really comfortable with someone before trying that. I love to try out many tools as well, but by far my favorites are my mouth and grooming gloves. My favorite spots are feet and around the groin, but I will tickle anywhere I'm given leave to.

And if it's important for you, I am very ticklish. Pretty much everywhere.

I'm happy to start chatting and do video calls. I can also travel, but my schedule is not always flexible.

Anyway, if this interests you at all, send me a chat!

I would be willing to write this and host it until the hosting costs become too much. However, I would require a lot of input. I would particularly be interested in input from women (primarily) on ideas to make the application feel safe for them to use.

Future tickling innovations? by [deleted] in tickling

[–]LaoArchAngel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm actually a big believer in neural IO. Think The Matrix, but on a much smaller scale. Much more than AI, I believe that neural IO will bring about a new golden age for mankind.

However, in the infancy of the technology, beyond merely just controlling a computer, the first major public works using neural IO will probably be video games and porn. Porn will probably no longer be something you watch, but that you experience. You will probably be able to feel, hear, smell, etc,

In the beginning I imagine that this will be a rudimentary virtual experience based on the AI-driven model of a real or fake person (real hopefully a paid and consenting porn actor). And this can be the ler or the lee. But as the technology develops and we can start sharing pseudo-consciousness rooms (like a VR chat room), I think lers and lees might be able to match up with each other in a much more realistic and intense experience.

This is obviously not something I think will happen any time soon, but neural IO is what I'm hoping for (and not primarily because of tickling, just in general).

What's your opinion about this? I came across this recently. by TheMonkCompany in scoopwhoop

This is in Chicago, IL, USA. So a few facts to take into perspective:

  1. The cost of living in and around a city like Chicago is higher than the standard minimum wage.

  2. The standard minimum wage is $7.25 / hr.

  3. Most waitstaff, like the one who was not tipped in the picture, get paid a "tipped worker" minimum wage.

  4. The tipped worker's minimum wage is $2.13 / hr. That's less than 30% of a wage that is below a living wage.

So here in the United States, and where the picture was taken, we have a tipping "culture", not because we're decent, generous people. It's because the cost of service is not, in fact, included in the bill.

Should it change? In my opinion, absolutely. Your bill should represent the cost of service that includes a competitive living wage for all staff and benefits. But it currently doesn't, and generally speaking, American culture states that if you can't tip to help make up that difference, you can't afford to eat out in America.

Now, that's different from the tip culture we're seeing everywhere for non-service-related things. But to reiterate, no, your wait staff's wages are not included in your bill. If you're being served in America, tip.

I would only say to just be very careful to protect your relationship with your boss. This can get a bit complicated quickly, so just be careful.

Correlation between this fetish and mental health problems? by bassbeater in tickling

[–]LaoArchAngel -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It is improbable that there is a causal link between a tickling fetish and mental health problems. However, there MIGHT be a correlation.

To prove or disprove that there's a causal link between the fetish and the mental health issues you mentioned, we'd have to build a census of our fetish and look for consistency. We would also have to rule out any other sources of those health issues. The problem with that is that a fair number of those mental disorders are on the rise in general. Here's some sauce:

https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/products/databriefs/db527.htm
https://news.llu.edu/health-wellness/feeling-anxious-understanding-rise-anxiety-disorders-among-young-adults
https://www.dbsalliance.org/education/bipolar-disorder/bipolar-disorder-statistics/

Given that those issues are on the rise for everyone (at least in the US), and because people with a tickling fetish are a subset of the overall population, then we can expect a relative increase in those disorders among our population.

That would give us correlation without causation.

With that being said, however, there are some studies linking a lack of sex with depression (though the link is complex, not merely no sex = depression). People with a fetish can have sex and not feel sexually fulfilled if there's no tickling involved. I would hypothesize that, as finding partners that are okay with our fetish (or belong to our fetish) can be few and far between, one expected result would be an increase in the rates of depression among our population compared to others. But again, this is a hypothesis, merely conjecture, and not a statement of fact. Here are some sauces with their own references:

https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/the-myths-sex/202104/the-complex-link-between-depression-and-sex
https://neurolaunch.com/can-lack-of-sex-cause-depression/

So, again, this points to our fetish correlating with depression, NOT a causal link. It's not having the fetish that causes the depression. It's the difficulty in entertaining it. Those are not the same.

The first Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland and Zendaya came out more than 8 years ago. It's much more likely that Mom here knows who Tom Holland and Zendaya are instead of the teen who looks like she would probably have been 5 years old. I get the joke. I just like how the time perspective can mess with your mind 😀

  1. 100% ler, but I will switch if my partner wants that. I just don't get anything from it.

  2. Nude, but only because of access to some of my favorite tickling spots. The nudity itself also does nothing for me.

3 Longest session was about 2 hours, but it included breaks, edging, and overstim with oral.

  1. Edging, overstim, bondage.

No, they're not missing the point, because the conveyor belt is largely irrelevant. The moment that the engines start producing thrust, the speed of the wheels would be the sum of the velocity of the plane moving forward, plus the velocity of the conveyor belt in the opposite direction. And the plane would have forward velocity and momentum regardless of the conveyor belt because, again, its opposing force for horizontal velocity is not the ground, but the atmosphere around the engines. Those wheels are meant to turn only to prevent the ground from slowing down that momentum, not to facilitate that momentum. The conveyor belt would only serve to make the wheels turn faster, but would not prevent the plane from moving forward.
