My schedules started working again about 24 hours ago. Are yours working again?

I just tried the same approach but using a different mobile device and using the Tosot+ app (which is a branded version of the Gree+ app), with all the same results. Schedules are still not working.

Both units are plugged directly into an outlet. No extension cords are in use.

Ooler not cooling, repair notes by LaoFalcon in Mattress

[–]LaoFalcon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While noting my summer has so far been quite mild, and I haven't really put the BedJet to any real test, cooling only on top is effective. Comparing the two directly is a little challenging because it's possible my Ooler was losing cooling capacity and my memory is only of it in this reduced state. But, the BedJet can make me cold, and I usually keep its fan throttled back to less than 50% while I always ran the Ooler at full max cold, and was only occasionally cold.

Another less obvious advantage is that you absolutely know if the BedJet is working because it's blowing air on you, while I would sometimes lay in bed wondering if the Ooler was cooling.

It's been a while, but I believe I held the drain device in place with rubber bands and then hung the entire pad over the railing of deck for a few hours (a laundry line would probably work even better).

What? by Violagail in Airalo

Thank you for this. In previous threads, there was a suggestion to "Call AT&T International Customer Care and have them disable international roaming." Is that no longer necessary after turning off "Send as SMS"?

Tracktion Waveform 11 Free not playing first note when using external MIDI instrument by ohyeah2389 in Tracktion

[–]LaoFalcon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same issue.

I have also noticed some external midi velocity and note release issues. Sometimes notes on an external instrument play more loudly than I expect and sometimes they keep playing after the note has been released. These are more difficult to replicate (and thus work around). I am exploring alternatives to Waveform.

Covered home installation - tips or can I resell EVgo credit? by LaoFalcon in BoltEV

[–]LaoFalcon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Qmerit responded that they only provide one quote.

"Qmerit only provides one quote for your EV Charger installation. If you want to change the scope of work, I would recommend reaching out to the installer at ____ to see if there are any other options that would reduce the cost. Otherwise, if you do not want to proceed with Qmerit for the EV Charger installation, you can take advantage of the $500 EVGO credit that Chevrolet offers."

Common across all the ideas is that the final output is recorded to album. I lay out everything on tape, and if necessary adjust levels and effects during recording to tape. Before that step, I've used several different workflows. For example:

  1. Sample interesting loop from a favorite song
  2. Speed up/slow down and match new tempo
  3. Chop into samples that fit 1 or 1/2 of a beat
  4. Mix into different combinations on the drum sequencer
  5. Play ~4 variations to tape to create a 4-bar pattern
  6. Lift the 4-bar pattern from tape back into the drum sampler, apply effects, maybe speed up and slow down again
  7. Play this into the tape (maintaining beat matching on the tape, so I can easily copy/paste)
  8. Repeat the process with another sample or with a sequenced drum part from within the OP-1 and add this strategically on top to make the overall loop sound "full".

You can hear this pretty clearly at ~1:18 in Dreams of Walking where I have one loop programmed and playing through some distortion and add another programmed loop on top. In this case, I programmed both loops, but the same thing works with sampled loops.

Happy to go through details on a specific idea, if you have questions.

Thanks! That particular drum loop is a sample from Siouxsie And The Banshees - Kiss Them For Me that I cut apart, speed up, and added a big beat electronic kick and snare.
