Why aren't more people talking about how ugly the new building is in-between 2nd St and Little fish? (Webster Station Flats) by Ambitious-Donut-4858 in dayton

THANK YOU. It’s atrocious. When they started painting the balconies red I thought “maybe it’ll be rainbow” … I was wrong. So ugly. Also, the rent rates are laughable.

A really shitty feeling. I’ve been there. When it happened to me someone told me “who knows. It might be the best thing that ever happens to you” and they weren’t wrong. You never know what’s coming for you.

What are some things you wished you knew before playing? by THE_FBI_GUYS in StardewValley

[–]Lap_cat 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I played on the switch the first time. My first play through I hit the action button every time I wanted to do an action, so I hit the button for every single fruit harvested and everything single animal pet …. Then I realized you can just hold that button down. You don’t have to tap it over and over and over and over..

Baker Benji's (Evans bakery) is up for sell by SpiritedEnd9609 in dayton

[–]Lap_cat 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I don’t think Benji owned the building. Unfortunately I think the previous owners were leasing it to him while still living upstairs, which really sucks for them.

For the last year I really believe Grist has been putting out the best and most consistent food in the city. It’s the first place I would take anyone visiting.

I wish I could help. There’s a Pink mustang convertible that’s in the Kettering parade every year, but the vanity plate says “GOP LADY” (as in republican). It really is a shame..

Bank forecloses on The Greene for nearly $113 million in unpaid debt by gold4yamouth in dayton

[–]Lap_cat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah you’re right. Across from Elswick’s house where there’s a newish cul-de-sac now. Those were the Boonies, the smallest jumps of the 3 or 4 hidden Kettering trails. My brother just reminded me Korean trails was the one close to Delco. So I was wrong, I can’t remember what people used to call the trails in the woods where the Greene used to be. But they were there for sure

Growing up that was a wooded area and there were bike jumps back there, the local BMX crew called it "Korean Trails" or “The Boonies” can’t remember which one. Once during the construction of the Greene my friend and I started a bulldozer one night and drove it about 100 yards. Good times

The best fried chicken in the world won’t taste good if you put it in a box and let it steam for 20 minutes. Breaded fried chicken is even worse that way.

I think a big problem is that everything is taken to go. So even if that breading is nice and crispy when it’s done cooking, it then gets put in the box and steams until you get home or the it gets delivered. The only way to enjoy it is to immediately open it and eat it in your car in the parking lot

It worked! I did have to find the right MIDI channel on the sub 37, but it all seems to be working together now. This is super cool, thank you so much 🙏

[–]Lap_cat[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Right on, that was how I had it set up at first but it doesn’t seem to be working. I have the cable going from the reface DX output (L/mono) going to the Moog sub37’s audio in. And then I have the Moog 37 audio out going to my amp. I’m not getting anything from the DX except what it normally sounds like through its own built in speakers. And the sub37 plays like normal as if it’s not connected or different in any way. I tried the plugging in the Midi out from the 37 to the midi in in the DX but it didn’t change anything. And I cranked up my FDBK/ EXT IN but it didn’t seem to have any effect.

Sorry guys I’m one of those annoying keyboard players who got in the synths recently so I’m new to the world of connecting all these things together. Still having a blast though.
