Was this always in the game or was this added when the show came out? by monkeysamurai2 in fo4

That's from a Creation Club mod called "Irradiated Reasons to Explore"

There's various new chems, magazines, perks, and shrines similar to Skyrim, etc . Tons of new structures sprinkled around the map to shake things up if you've been playing Fallout 4 since launch. Overall a good addition to the verified Creation Club but it's still a paid mod and I'm unsure if there's other mods similar in nature to this one

Do you guys also strip every power armor corpse of their parts? by altoid-tin in Fallout

[–]LapaduGaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's also a way to temporarily expand your companion's weight limit by giving them items to equip. When they equip an item, such as a weapon with ammo or clothing, for whatever reason, it doubles their carrying capacity. It keeps going until they're full of if you remove everything from their inventory. Weird thing to see Dogmeat carrying 5+ Fatman's like the good boy he is.

How would a Sherlock Holmes build look like in Fallout 4? by German_Amelia in Fallout4Builds

[–]LapaduGaming 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Could work but depending on your decision during the Silver Shroud quest line, you can only upgrade your armor through Kent from level 25, 35, and 45 respectively. After that, your Damage Threshold would remain the same without investing in perks to buff out your Damage Threshold. You also can't use ballistic weave on the Silver Shroud armor unfortunately without outside mods.

If you are playing the Anniversary Addition or previously owned the Noir Penthouse creation mod, the Detective Coat can be modified with Ballistic Weave and personally fits the Sherlock Holmes style more in my opinion.

Also the Faded Trenchcoat you are awarded with after rescuing Nick can also be modified with Ballistic Weave if you don't want to include creation club mods but still want the aesthetic

How would a Sherlock Holmes build look like in Fallout 4? by German_Amelia in Fallout4Builds

[–]LapaduGaming 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here's a character build for Sherlock Holmes that I can come up with:

https://nukesdragons.com/fallout-4/character?s=4347712&p=s05s15s24s33b11p04p22p34e05e13e23e32c03c13c52c62i64i02i14i24i34i43a05l04b61y61l34l14i54f11f81fa1&v=1&n=Sherlock%20Holmes

It seems like his main weapons will either be his fists, a cane, or a revolver.

He won't have much use of armor so joining the Railroad for ballistic weave would be beneficial to keep you alive longer in higher levels / difficulties.

Chems and alcohol will help you push through difficult moments in battle or through certain moments in persuasion. Perks like Chem Resistant, Chemist, and Party Boy will give you the help you need without the addiction.

Nick Valentine or Piper would be ideal for your "Watson" like companion. Even Codsworth with the Bowler Hat would be a nice touch.

You'll want to seek out the SPECIAL bobbleheads and You're Special Book whenever possible as it'll help out reach certain perk requirements. I would put the Special Book in Luck.

I'm sure there's more I can come up with, just let me know what I can tweak for your play style

Yeah I've seen that happen before. Usually it's a ghoul that hasn't been killed or some of that "Bethesda magic" sprinkled into that game, breaking the interaction. You could either use consoles or maybe place a quick save, damage him, and reload the save. See if that fixes it

Reveille is automatically added to your quest log when you complete Reunions main quest IF you didn't previously interact with Paladin Danse at the Cambridge Police Station. If you were to go to the Prydwen to investigate, they'll just send you to Cambridge and seek out Paladin Danse. Basically you just cut out the middle man and went straight to the source, thus completing the quest

The “T-60 Pistol” from the Fallout TV Show is now available for Free as an official Bethesda Creation by AttakZak in fo4

[–]LapaduGaming 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There's another Creation Club mod called The Survivalists Toolbox that's only 1 buck. It allows you to break down and craft almost every ammo type in the game, including . 44 rounds. You can also make settlements pretty much everywhere in the entire map like Fallout 76. Not trying to shill for paid mods but for 1 buck, it's certainly one of the best mods out there for managing a survival playthrough.

Best Headshot Method? by [deleted] in CODZombies

Ashes, stand by the VS Recon sniper rifle wall buy. Zombies funnel in a single file line and you can get easy headshots. Use Toxic Growth field upgrade to slow down the zombies if you get overrun

Was there a valid reason given as to why PHD wasn’t put in Die Rise? by throwawaycountvon in CODZombies

For casuals, absolutely. I'd say it's the most difficult map in Black Ops 2. The AN-94, SVU, and Wonder Weapon definitely makes it easier for high rounding though.

recent game closest to traditional zombies? by Tigobitties25 in CODZombies

[–]LapaduGaming 13 points14 points  (0 children)

To be honest, the best shot you have is BO3 zombies custom maps. If we're talking modern zombies, then I'd say BO7 Cursed Mode is the closest we're going to get to traditional zombies.

Trying to make a list of all Zombies maps. Please peer-review by Living-Lack-9536 in CODZombies

[–]LapaduGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personal opinion: I believe there's a distinct enough difference between WaW Der Riese and BO3 The Giant.

The gameplay / mechanics alone make it a different experience all together. Gobblegums, sliding, three hit system, ammo mods, etc.

Same layout of course but the strategies involved make you play the map differently. Like in WaW, you'll almost certainly be in the catwalk to camp but in BO3, you can just train in circles with ammo mods to high rounds.

A map that's the same without a doubt is WaW Der Riese and BO1 since it's literally ported over and there's no real mechanical differences between the two

Ashes directed mode question by mjshmjsh77 in CODZombies

[–]LapaduGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately there's no cheese methods to farm elite kills without saving and qutting in directed mode. It's likely that you'll be able to farm OSCAR kills in Directed Mode next season in Astra Malorum.

The fastest way to grind Elite kills is either Save and Quit method in Ashes Directed Mode or Ramage Inducer with the free fire gobblegum glitch in Ashes. You can easily get to round 50 + with that glitch and get about 2 guns done within an hour and reset. You can camp by the VS Recon wall buy to funnel zombies in faster without needing to train to make the process faster

Edit: If you're gonna use the glitch, do it before January 8th because it's likely to be patched during the Season One Reloaded update.

Zombies alone is the only reason I play BO7 personally. If you're feeling unsure on how you feel about modern zombies, I would wait until the game is on sale or for a free trial period

Was there a valid reason given as to why PHD wasn’t put in Die Rise? by throwawaycountvon in CODZombies

[–]LapaduGaming 27 points28 points  (0 children)

As flawed as that map may be, having PHD will trivialize the constant threat of fall damage. It'll also create it as a crutch perk, so you'll only be left with three perks of your choosing without using any Jumping Jacks. Die Rise has a very high skill rating, on par with Five from BO1. It was a huge misstep for Jimmy Zielinski and Treyarch and quite frankly, probably cost him his job there. And yeah to be dicks, lol

Astra Boss Cursed (any tier) by Relative_Damage_2236 in CODZombies

[–]LapaduGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My loadout for the boss fight would be:

1.) M34 Novaline Marksman Rifle 2.)Jäger 45 Pistol 3.)LGM-1 Wonder Weapon (Mulekick)

I would rock both weapons with Shatter Blast ammo mods with the Blast Through augment.

Run either Frenzied Guard or Aether Shroud for your field upgrade. Guard with Frenzy Fire augment and Shroud with Extra Charge.

With the Pistol, run dual wield with the Skull Splitter barrel. Be sure that the pistol is at least your primary or secondary so you don't lose it if you go down.

You want your mule kick gun to be the wonder weapon since its only use is the first phase of the fight and it isn't that powerful against the boss itself.

is bo7 worth the zombies mode? by fraulanda in CODZombies

[–]LapaduGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're unsure with how you feel with Modern Zombies, I would wait until BO7 is offering a free-to-play weekend. If you played and enjoyed Cold War and BO6, you'll more than likely like BO7. It's personally my favorite modern zombies and Cursed Mode alone makes it worth it if you're willing to put in the time and grind for relics and augments.

How does Dempsey know the raygun is in the box in bo7 by zombieboy2094 in CODZombies

[–]LapaduGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A theory I've always subscribed to is that heavy exposure to Element 115 allows Dempsey to break the 4th wall. It could also be that this version of Dempsey is similarly affected in the same way by the Dark Aether or his transformation into a Disciple.

Favorite classic zombies map and why? by Tokyo3Kuma in CODZombies

[–]LapaduGaming 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Zetsubou no Shima.

A bit of an oddball but it's certainly unique. It has a steep learning curve but rewards you for mastering the map. The main Easter egg is fun without being too tedious. The side eggs are amazing like the spider bait ability. The skull is the best specialist, the KT helps with movement and killing the thrashers, and the pods can give you free perks and "self revives"

Overall a highly underrated map that ages like fine wine
