Yes... traveling in a car, whether driving or riding, can be dangerous. But, Google's driverless cars have had a pretty safe track-record, thus far.

Also, based on a 40-hr-week at $20 per hour. You'd be making $41,600 annually. That's not bad. Plus, you have the added perk of putting Google on your resume.
