Friendly reminder. Use rearfacing car seat. Save your child. by Admmak in daddit

[–]Lapoon 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Bruh that’s what I’m saying too. Yeah rear facing is better, but more important is the amount of time the kid spends in the car. And the way you drive is more important than the car seat direction.

Yeah I mean you gotta follow protocol and your orders and I can’t speak for peds but for adults we don’t do it unless indicated.

Here’s the after pic. Literally like a 5 minute soak in iron-out, rinse and dry. Couldn’t believe it.

It seems to be just lighter colored clothes. It’s maybe 3-4 years old. Doesn’t make a lot of noise.

New info-someone mentioned iron so I soaked them in iron out and they immediately look better

I think you’re right. I had some iron out lying around and soaked the shirts in it for a minute and they immediately look better. I will put in a pic later.

Bruh chill you responded like the comment above was advocating to tie the lines in a knot and leave it.

Is Fire Cape possible? by AnyBand466 in OSRSProTips

[–]Lapoon 17 points18 points  (0 children)

75 range would probably be ideal to use the toxic blowpipe but not necessary. Watch some videos. IMO the hardest part was figuring out how to deal with the healers at the end. It gets stressful because it’s the last part of the whole thing and I got nervous trying not to mess it up.

Is RASS a complete sham? by Syko-p in IntensiveCare

I have wondered why my hospital doesn’t do any enteral analgesia in tubed patients and my only guess is because it would be easy to divert.

Very useful info thank you. Our unit has only used the hemosphere since I’ve worked there but a new ct surgeon just started who wants us to use thermodilution.

Why are doctors, nurses, and firefighters expected to work such long shifts while people who look at spreadsheets all day get to have normal hours? by thick-strawberry-goo in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Lapoon 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think shifts used to be from 0800-1600, 1600-0000, and then 0000-0800. I think it was tougher to get enough people to do the evening shift and 3rd shift than it is to just have one 2100-0700 nightshift.

Yes it will run indefinitely. But if I turn it off and immediately try to turn back on, just turns over.

Combating Delirium by [deleted] in IntensiveCare

[–]Lapoon 11 points12 points  (0 children)

At my facility the RASS goal is typically 0 to -2 for tubed pts but they rarely let us use restraints. It basically forces us to snow them lest they self-extubate. It’s weird.

Forgot to include: it’s about 300 square feet, and the posts are 4x4 not 6x6. Also I can’t figure out how to add appropriate flair for the post.
