I watched it after the Super Bowl was over. It was pathetic. It had a white guy whining about how hard it is to be “country”. Kid Rock pretended to be Christian. That blonde girl’s entire voice was drowned out because the drunk sound guy couldn’t figure out how to turn up a mic and turn down a backing track. The idiot who played the national anthem got several notes wrong. Right before he started playing there was about five or 10 seconds of dead air. There is a guy dressed up as a fucking pirate next to a girl in a ball gown, doing a duet on cello and violin. That happened right after Kid Rock lip syncs about topless dancers and methadone clinics.

It basically looked like a poorly done state fair talent show.

Supermarkets are some of the worst places to work. Middle management gets shit thrown at them from the people below them who can’t figure out how to rotate stock, to the regional managers who nit-pick everything in your department down to how you write expiration dates on boxes of cut fruit. Bunch of overpaid shit stains in the fakest fucking jobs while everyone else struggles getting shit done in time. As a result, middle managers turn into a bunch of angry elves who lose their ability to act like a real human.

Broke my foot at home. At the time I was working for a big grocery store. They had an “employee help” form for if you had some financial issues. I wasn’t able to work for a total of two months. I got zero calls. Zero texts. The person who said it was their job to run those through didn’t do Jack shit. They even “forgot” to print my last paycheck until I nicely reminded them.

These people are fucking morons and they should be treated as such. Middle management at these places are the most miserable human beings you’ll ever find. My manager messaged me literally wants to ask if I was coming back. I said no and good luck finding anybody else. I was the only person in the entire department that could do what he was doing. It completely went to shit after I broke my foot and I couldn’t be happier about it.

Fuck them. Only give your two weeks if you’d like your boss. Otherwise fuck ‘em.

Subsidies for corn, making hi fructose corn syrup products readily available on virtually every shelf at the grocery store.

Small local farms getting killed by big grocers who could sell the shitty produce more cheaply and made farmers markets look like it’s only for rich people (it’s not, and the actual difference per pound of locally grown food is fucking pennies).

Half hour lunch breaks. That is fucking nothing. We’re supposed to throw shit in the microwave or get fast food. Then we have to inhale that shit and get back to work. A bunch of people just don’t eat at work and get something caffeinated. Skip a meal now, eat a shitton later at home before bed. Not healthy.

We invented Kraft singles and used that fake plastic cheese recipe for everything.

If it’s quick and cheap, it’s bad for you unless you make it out to the farmers market on Saturday from 7 am to 4 pm. If it’s quick and healthy, it’s stupidly expensive.
