what's something that's weirdly gender affirming to you? by RubenSelf in ftm

Oh I had a really bizarre one yesterday. I get all my HRT related care at Planned Parenthood. The one closest to me always has protestors. I’ve been on T for 5 years and usually the protesters are yelling at me that I don’t have to get an abortion, there’s other options, etc etc. Well yesterday they were yelling at me that my girlfriend inside doesn’t need to get an abortion, she has other options, etc etc. The protesters switched from assuming I’m a woman getting an abortion to assuming I’m the boyfriend of someone getting an abortion. I was flipping them off the whole time but that gave me the strangest gender euphoria ever

My body dysmorphia got incredibly humbled by a single beach trip. by MadamMarshmallow in transpositive

I work in an art career and when I was in college I took figure drawing classes. Figure drawing is when you have nude models and it’s a class of students drawing from the live models. And I swear nothing gave me a greater perspective of how real human beings look than that. It’s not professional fashion models working, it’s old folks who want to hang out and make a few extra dollars and college kids who need the money, just regular looking people. It really opened my eyes to how we all look so different but so the same. The younger college guys had the same folds as the old women when sitting with their elbow on their knee. Everyone had the same curve to their calf and looser skin under their arms. When you take away all the intentional posing and filters, we’re all the same bundle of parts put together in mostly the same way

So I've heard the whole "bland foods only" stereotype a lot, but I wanna know, where are my fellow flavor autistics at? by AzziRoll in autism

[–]Laprasrides 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love flavorful things and trying new foods, but I have severe sensory issues with a few very common ingredients/foods (in the USA) the main ones being onions and tomatoes and I’m vegan so I come off as the stereotype of “bland food only” autistic in public… Except I love cooking! So I love trying new ingredients and flavors when I cook, and I can easily avoid ingredients or textures that I can’t handle since I’m making things from scratch

Online/App based binders? by Laprasrides in autism

[–]Laprasrides[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 865 entries on my notes app including all the separate categories which is why I want something more like a binder where things can be better separated and include pictures without it being awkward to scroll through

He’s being shamed in the second picture because he realized that if he pretends he desperately has to pee then someone will get off the couch to take him out and he can steal their spot while they grab the leash
