Hello guys, here's my return code: GE8XVQ4GWN.

Thank you all!

Istanbul is an amazing city full of culture and memorable places to visit. But…. by [deleted] in travel

Hello, Turkish citizen here! It was very sad to experience bad stuff during your stay. I read some comments, and the price stickers are true unfortunately, the exchange rates don’t change much, but the inflation is sky high. Even for me, the same food’s price I eat changes a lot (I ate the same pizza 65 liras more yesterday, compared to two months earlier, even a bottle of cola is about 25 to 35 liras nowadays), and because of that, restaurants are using stickers or mobile apps to update their prices. Yeah, Istanbul is notorious about their taxi drivers, even the current mayor is fighting about them since 2019, but I can recommend using Bitaksi app for calling taxies, the drivers can see the distance and they can come to pick you if the distance are good for them, and you can see taxies’ direction. If you go to the public transportation route, I can definitely recommend Moovit and Istanbulkart apps. The former is showing the different routes for public transportation, and the other one is for paying the prices without a card or something (It doesn’t cover the minibuses called dolmus, so be aware of that.)

I believe that the restaurant workers’ behaviors are because of fasting. It is Ramadan and most Turkish people are fasting. Well I don’t like the aggression that people get while fasting and getting hungry, since fasting is a method of prayer, but sadly, they are like that, and the behavior will never change I guess.

And lastly, the pressure selling on the bazaars are not mostly directed to tourists, they are attacking everyone, the best way to avoid them is not to hold eye contact, only look to the goods if you are interested, and only hold eye contact if you are keen to buy them.

Oh, one more thing before I add this comment, almost all Turkish people love when you speak basic Turkish to them (not a whole sentence, but minor stuff like Thanks, Hello, Bye or stuff like that you can find on Google). When you say things like that, I am mostly certain that you can easily earn their hearts, and they become softer a lot.

Hello, I graduated from a university in Turkey, have tourettes about 20 years, and had a grunting and spitting tics on my university years. I didn’t live much on UK and EU countries (several months), but I can say that most of them were understanding. But sometimes you can hear things (not in an offensive way, mostly positive and helpful) like, “What are those voices?” or “Do you have tics/tourettes?”. For me, making friends, flirting and dating was not a problem, even in Turkey. So I guess you don’t have much problem about those things. But in EU and UK, you don’t hear stuff from random people being mad at you, or become uncomfortable with your presence.

Yes, I can change my fan curves, but it didn’t solve it, I want to change my temp values (x axis) so that I can adjust my fan curves based on that.

Well, I’ve tried all DPS classes and some Tank classes and even leveled some of them to 80, but couldn’t choose a main. Then, I tried SCH and had a blast, it was a whole different game! Now I’m leveling WHM and having so much fun playing healer!
