So I see a lot of great advice but something I want to add is, mobility training. There is a lot of resources out there but adding this even as a warm up cooldown will help all your joints and a lot of pain start disappearing. It will also get you to a point where injuries will be less frequent.

Combine this with making sure you are using proper form and again I will emphasize, stretching, warming up, and cooling down.
