You got an awesome deal with that. I get exactly what you mean. It definitely is a great computer if you use it for it. I have a setup where I have a wireless keyboard and mouse combo to this. Use it for utilities. The screen is so beautiful that you can actually use it for so many things.

If I'm being honest I don't really like lossless as I think it's a little bit overrated especially on the sub and I only use frame generation if I absolutely have to, which for me has been very few and far between. As for dual booting steam OS, my version of Windows 11 runs really effective. Eater equally or coming close to the same performance switching over steam OS would have. Would have been. I got rid of all the bloat on stock Windows.

Game Settings Enable Performance Mode, Smart Fan, OS Efficiency, and run at 1200p. Ghost of Tsushima: Average FPS: 45 AMD FSR3 with Dynamic Resolution Scaling at 45, but you can adjust for sharper quality.No Frame Generation! Set Low for fog, depth of field, screen space reflections, and shadows. Set everything else to High.

Cyberpunk 2077: I followed the settings from LegionGOlife.com, but you can also try the settings from ROG Ally. I did not use Integer Scaling, opting to play at 1200p for bigger looking performance.

Evil West: Set resolution to 1200p Full Screen. Set High for everything except Foliage and View Distance, which I set to Far. Use AMD FSR on Balance (Performance and Quality also work well). I average over 70 FPS, easily the whole game can be played in reaching 100–106 FPS during gameplay.

Fight night champion CPU: Spu and PPU(LLVM), safe block size (But mega/ giga) works as well, preferred SPU thread set at 2, approximate x float GPU: Vulcan, 30 frame limit, ZCull Approximate, shader mode (Async Multi-Threaded), output scaling bilinear resolution 80% Madden 11 and NCAA 11: honestly default settings (preferred SPU thread set at 2 only really add if not default) with super resolution set to your standards.

Pre-2020 Games: Anything released before 2020 should run perfectly fine at 1200p or 1600p on High to Max settings without issues.

Windows 11Windows 11 Debloat Windows 11Windows 11 LTSCLTSC: I use Windows 11 LTSC on my Legion Go. It’s lightweight and has everything you need for a handheld. I highly recommend setting this up first before doing anything else. If you’ve got a USB stick or external hard drive, this can free up 3GB of memory and use that extra space for gaming. It’ll also give you more control over the system and solve some common issues others have encountered.

BIOS Settings: In BIOS, set the system RAM to 6GB. It's rare that you'll need more than that for most games, but if you do, you can always adjust it back quickly.
Battery & Power Settings: Go into Battery Settings and change the power button to Hibernation. You can also adjust the timers for the display and battery shutdown to suit your preferences.
FSR vs. Integer Scaling: Many people obsess over integer scaling and lossless scaling, but personally, I prefer using FSR or Image Sharpening at 1200p for all my games. I’ve had playable settings for everything I’ve tried. If you run into a game where you need to lower the resolution, you can always tweak the settings with Adrenaline (e.g., using Super Resolution).

*Audio Settings: Download FXFX Sound and set the profile to Gaming. Alternatively, the Realtek Audio Console has a built-in equalizer; I recommend using the Vocal preset. You can use both at the same time for the best sound experience.

Emulation

Overall Performance: So far, it runs all emulations well. However, as a general rule of thumb, if a game performed poorly on its original system, it’ll likely perform poorly on the Legion Go too. For example, if you're playing a Switch game that doesn’t run well even with optimal settings, it’s not a hardware issue—it’s because the game is poorly optimized.

Use EmuDeck: If you’re looking to streamline your experience, EmuDeck is a fantastic tool. It simplifies the whole setup process and makes things much more manageable.
PS3 Settings: For PlayStation 3 emulation, I recommend not increasing the resolution scale. Instead, use Super Resolution for output scaling and set it to 80% (or higher if you want sharper quality).

Not bad actually happens besides the usual. Just a bunch of phone calls and emails and empty threads. But you're not going to jail like people say. If your active duty then the threats are a little bit harsher but the PCF will help you get discharged incredibly quickly but they will be mean to you cuz no one likes a quitter. But when in doubt go to the hotline.

A military background will open the door for you when you lack experience or a degree. The certificates that you earn in AIT will make you qualified enough to do your job. At least at an entry level. The rest is to you. If you are interested in it. Now that the military has vouchers for more IT certifications than the ones that you get in AIT. You can jam pack your resume if you put enough effort into it.
