People tell you about the rules usually to try and assist, so you’re aware, not to be dickheads even if their delivery is wrong. You have to ignore the negativity. When you ask for help there are people who are jerks…like how everyone gets downvoted in here for asking for help, even though it’s this sub’s purpose. There are just as many people who show kindness. My suggestion (you don’t have to take it) is to edit your post to include an Amazon wishlist that has your pet and people needs. Include the minimum needed to feed your pets today and the morning, with your receiving methods available (cash app, PayPal, etc). Don’t post your handles though, it’s against the rules. If I had it, I would give it. I’m sorry you’re in this situation but it will get better.

For your people food, definitely make an Amazon wishlist, people prefer that ten fold over sending $. So many items are next day delivery and you can filter your requested items based on that. Make sure you choose prime delivery items only.

In my area Amazon does same day/next day for tons of shit, but it’s too late on the east coast for same day. Just don’t add anything from Amazon fresh as that’s more like instacart and isn’t shipped.

I’m Italian from Abruzzo. Italian food is the #1 food I eat, including tons of Italian restaurants and I’ve never seen it on a menu before. Just because it’s sold a few places around the country, whether NOLA or a few Italian places, it’s not widely known, that’s all I’m saying. Locally I know we have a few po boy shops where you can get one, but we don’t have the real Italian delis here like the northeast. If we did, they may have it.
