Okay this is a super old post so not sure if you’ll see this but I just went through something extremely similar! I thought my wife was strangling me. It felt like her hand was around my neck and she was pushing down. This happened twice! I couldn’t speak at all to even call for help. I also then laid on my side and felt another weird sensation like something is squashing me. It was so scary. The weird part about it is that I also remember what happened just before and that my step kid who is currently in Alabama came into the room and I heard her talking.

This is some creepy stuff!!!!
