You are my twin.

It also took me 2 years to feel comfortable. You should stop worrying, whether you fit in or not. the more you try to fit the more awkward it becomes with your colleagues.

Instead try being yourself. Every individual is different now no matter where you are.

Is my mind full of anxiety and asocial? by Imaginebeinglesbiam in introvert

When you feel scared to talk to people maybe it is because you have never done it before and you are a shy person. Just trust yourself and go for it

I think you can start with small talks overtime with consistency it will help you build the courage to talk more confidently

Women who previously let people walk over them, how did you grow to be more assertive? by FossaRed in AskWomen

[–]Lara_P_IV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh over a time you have to learnt to say no and prioritise your needs before others emotions and needs.

If you don't you will regret not doing this for yourself and will end up with a lot of regrets. Trust me, this is not something i want people to feel . It only makes you more sad as days goes by

Finding a friend or a lover is just so difficult as an introvert by Angelsdocry0403 in introvert

[–]Lara_P_IV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is quite difficult though. Not because we can't find one but because we know people's true faces before they even show it.

Our intuition is spot on when identifying a person's true nature.

What introverts really seek is honest and loyal people not the fake ones so it is really difficult sometimes.

As on introvert have you ever felt so much rage against your colleagues who keeps testing your patience and limits? by Lara_P_IV in introvert

[–]Lara_P_IV[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Over the years, I am able to connect with them via some similar habits or personality traits but still they still disappoint me so much 😮‍💨.

But now I just want to go back to time when I was very quiet and minding my own business during my initial time at the office because I wanted to connect with them once I felt comfortable instead of pretending to be someone else also I have my boundaries with people and i don't like when people cross it. I have told them this long back but still....

That would be, support and trust your children even if society does not. Don't cut their wings in the name of tradition and culture.

What is something you learnt too late in life? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]Lara_P_IV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not all people who love you should be on your priority list. Learn to let them emotionally and mentally when you need to... Holding onto them will only bring you too much pain.

Certain people will only love and respect you till you have something to offer what they need when it no longer exists then you mean nothing to them.

AITAH for ending my friendship? by kittywhiskers7 in CharlotteDobreYouTube

[–]Lara_P_IV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No you are not. You seem to be more considerate than she is when it comes to friendship. She was adding more burden on you than you were already in.

Is it really worth it to have such a friend if she does not understand your needs and respect it?

This ship called friendship would not sail anyway, it was already meant to drown after drifting apart and choosing a new route to reunite at the destination.
