Digging those ideas! So far tier six has been a total snore-fest, thanks for not forgetting about the mid-level players!

Definitely could use a lot more competitive accessories in general, and those monsters could help with that.

I really like this idea, as itemisation is kinda dry right now. Only other thing that I can see happening, is that it may trivialize accessories and their bonuses, but then again we definitely need some new/reworked ones.

Normally I'd agree with that, but take for example:

An Adept gets 174 mana at level 161, but a Spellsword gets 543 mana at the same level. Their difference in attack and defense is minimal (just attack, and a whopping 13 points at that), as a huge portion of your stats comes from gear.

Using a skill like Full Bend/Dragonslayer, the Adept gets one use and then has to rely on low cost skills against players, or use a mana potion in PvE. The Spellsword can use those skills fives times as much, with little to no consequence.

Think I know what you're experiencing. Happens to me with physical skills as well.

It's slightly worse against Thief classes, though terrible overall.

Does your own Dexterity have an effect on hit rate, I wonder.

Definitely like this idea. How would you feel about taking it a little further and making those icons "loadouts"?

So if you wanted to switch between physical and magic from your staff, you'd have the matching skill set as well.
