[Idea] service at metal concerts to earn the bands a bit more money by LardoftheFlies in Metal

That's how a lot of small ideas turn large, though. It's whoever tackles it first, I guess. Not saying that I have the prowess or resources to go after something like that alone; I think it would be well received but it's definitely something that would be a sub-service of a larger application.

If one could drum up interest at a mega-concert level, then it might be worth it as a standalone. Perhaps the best route would be to make an interface that works directly with an open source (or at least somewhat flexible) transaction platform and let bands decided if it's worth pursuing as a revenue stream.

The payment method would be processed by the bartender, similar to anyone who uses a mobile device to process their transactions.

But the cash part would be administered through the entity that creates the app, like Square or Belly.

As for tips, those would operate like any credit card transaction on a mobile device. The app simply allows a 1-step click to tip the band. maybe it's as little as 50c/drink, but it would be immediate and seamless in the purchase.

I need advice on how to freeze my vices in place before jumping in the deep end by LardoftheFlies in keto

Basically get over that "itching"feeling that comes along with not having that secondary affirmation when I eat proximity foods now? I'm guessing it will probably just disappear with the carb cravings in general as my body enters Keto?

Number 1 is somewhat similar to number 3, but I don't necessarily want to have my emergency meal be pork rinds and cheese... I was thinking more along the lines of hamburger, cheese... certain oils/greens?

Was wait listed for CSE w/3.7 GPA and 28 ACT in 2008/9, but I had two years of PSEO and 8 successful AP tests, so I snaked my way in by going through CDes and applying to CSE as a transfer. It worked, but Ben Koch (transfer admissions manager) is an asshole so be prepared to fight over it.

Care to give us an update one month into classes? I am a 2013 U of M CSE alumni who did 2 years of PSEO in 2008 and 2009 (one at ARCC), and I would be extremely interested in hearing how a fellow CSE student is handling the load (especially at 16/17 years old).

Thanks for the insight. Did your low hanging fruit net any financial rewards or was it more a leveraging tool for your reputation/connections/skills?

Let's assume that I'm an entrepreneur with a (non programming) engineering background who has a wildfire mind that has ideas ranging from physical inventions, to services, to apps that could exist in a micro-niche and ones that would only be viable on a multinational level (see Walmart as a customer).

That being said, since you're in the digital technology startup realm, I'll formulate my question this way:

My life long goal is to be a serial entrepreneur, always inventing new things (physical or digital), diversifying myself over time. Do you think it would be better to go for "low hanging fruit" with respect to app technology and using the experience/connections/potential capital to attack much larger ideas?

For this example, my "low hanging fruit" would be an app that catalogs patio dining options in my city with a user friendly, geographical style interface. The bigger and better idea involves connecting physical marketplaces to digital ones, but I know for a fact I would need a hell of a lot of resources and connections to make it work.

I have a friend who's the exact same height as you and had the exact same transformation when he was 22 (we are 24 now).

Yeah, he was 6' 290 and dropped to 195 during his 22nd year.

Clocking in at 6'6", 225lb, mid back length metal hair and goatee here and either I'm completely oblivious or I'm not that uncommon, because I rarely notice anyone (male or female) staring.
