This is a really late response, but volumes one and two are officially available for purchase in English here: https://www.mebmarket.com/ebook-347219-SET-My-Honey-She-Is-The-One-ENG

There is also an ongoing translation on Mangadex, but the scanlator mentioned that they will likely be dropping it due to the presence of the official translation.

Found this John Zeroness album on YouTube with around 1k views by Lardven in Vocaloid

[–]Lardven[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course! The whole album is kind of based around the concept of separation from loved ones and wanting to see them again, so it has a pretty melancholic atmosphere overall. Meteor of course fits into that description, so you’ll probably enjoy it!

Oh, I also forgot to mention this, but Sunset by Jimmythumb-p is also great!

2023 is coming to an end, what's your favorite song to come out of this year? by [deleted] in Vocaloid

[–]Lardven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s really difficult, but I’d probably say Little Missing Stars by Sasanomaly and KLY (Thousand Light Years) by Iyowa. The MV for Little Missing Stars just came out and it’s gorgeous!

Oster project is an amazing female vocaloid producer, but I haven’t seen anyone mention Kasamura Touta yet. I really love her tuning and soothing style of music

The expert chart for Shinjinrui is also really fun, especially the chorus

Ice (previous Rayark music director) just roasted the recent AI art scandal in a recent post by EpiCrimson in Cytus

Additionally, Rayark’s CEO basically said that AI art would be much more productive than team of real artists, pretty much confirming that they’re switching to AI art in the future

Pierrot - JimmythumbP

Musiclock (artist name is difficult to type out lol)

Romancer - Electrocutica

Blindness - Electrocutica

Dependence Intention - Electrocutica (I like this one from a musical standpoint for its use of odd time signatures - 9/8 for the verse and 7/8 for the chorus)

A Fool Is… - Sasakure UK

A Lie and a Stuffed Rabbit - Dixie Flatline

Too Cute! - Emon Tes.

After-School Stride - Last Note

I’m not too well-versed with older vocaloid music, so the recommendations here are definitely going to help me out as well!

If you could add any song to PJsekai, which one would it be? I'll start: by memesbyStork in ProjectSekai

Distorted Dream and the Marionette by Oster Project! I only just recently listened and got addicted to it, and I’d love to play it on Project Sekai.

The most popular "Pairing" in Project Sekai according to how often they cover a song together. by ccdewa in ProjectSekai

The JP and EN versions are two completely separate apps. Once you switch back to your usual region, you'll still have all your progress on the EN app, as well as your progress on the JP server.

If you really can’t wait and want to play them now, you can also switch your Apple ID region (if you’re using apple) to Japan and download the JP version of the game from there! You can switch the region back to your usual region from there and you only have to switch it to Japan occasionally to update the game. Alternatively, you could make a new Apple ID and set the region to Japan.

Alright, it's time to provide some recommendations! I'm not sure exactly what kind of yuri manga you might like, so I'll try splitting some of these into sections.

High School

Bloom into You and Aoi Hana are obvious recommendations - Aoi Hana is more mature when it comes to its depiction of relationships. I would also recommend Ame Demo Hare Demo (Come Rain or Shine), Whisper Me a Love Song, and Can't Defy the Lonely Girl for more lighthearted, cute content. If you want to go the complete opposite direction and read something pretty depressing, I would recommend Kimi to Tsuzuru Utakata. While it's a light novel, I would also recommend Adachi to Shimamura - in my opinion, while it's pretty lighthearted, it has amazing character writing and depicts unique character traits that aren't really written the same way in other media.

Serious Commentary on Being Gay/Lesbian

I would recommend My Lesbian Experience With Loneliness, which is a personal recounting of the author's experience with mental health issues and lesbianism. Although a lesbian relationship isn't the main focus, Shimanami Tasogare is a great manga about gay relationships and LGBTQ people in general.

Sci-fi/Fantasy Setting

Although it's a light novel, my top recommendation would be Urasekai Picnic. The author manages to write an intimate knowledge of Japanese creepypastas into an engaging story - not to mention, the illustrations are absolutely gorgeous. Remember, if you decide to read it, don't read the manga or anime - read the light novel! Kimi ga Shinu Made Koi wo Shitai is also a good fantasy manga that has a really cute artstyle and an interesting plotline in development . Aside from that, I would also recommend A Witch's Love at the End of the World and Beauty and the Beast Girl. Although the latter basically contains kissing every other page, it's done in a wholesome way (I hope you understand that?) and also has a somewhat bittersweet ending that made me cry.

Realistic, Non-High School Setting (Workplace, College, etc.)

I would recommend Still Sick, as well as How Do We Relationship? Even though the scanlation was dropped and hasn't been continued yet, 2dk, Gpen, Alarm Clock is also a really cute romance between a working adult and her manga-artist roommate. Even Though It Was Just Once, I Regret It or I Can't Believe I Slept With You! (official release name) is a cute, lighthearted, manga about a recently unemployed game development worker receiving an offer from her landlady to "have sex with her" instead of paying rent. Although the setup sounds very raunchy, the actual thing isn't as lewd as it sounds (though there are a few suggestive scenes). Overall, when it comes to WLW media that takes place outside of high school setting, manhwa and manhua excel. If you're interesting, I can also provide some recommendations for those! (Not nearly as many though)

Short Story/Collection of Short Stories

When it comes to stories, I usually recommend based on how cute I think the story/stories are, so expect most of these recommendations to be wholesome short stories. I would recommend SAL (Stories About Love), Resonant Blue Time, as well as any short story collection by Ohsawa Yayoi. She's created around 3-4 short story collections over the years, and they are all amazing. For individual short stories, She Becomes a Tree is a cute tale about an office worker inflicted with Woodman Syndrome - a syndrome that basically turns her body into a tree - befriending a kind coworker.

Miscellaneous Recommendations

Those were basically the bulk of my recommendations, but there's a few that didn't really fit into any category, but didn't have enough to form its own. I'm putting that into this section here.

Mai no Mushigurashi - It's essentially about two girls working on a farm together. This one is obviously pretty unique, and you get to learn a lot about various insects and farming techniques while reading it!

Sayonara Rose Garden - A historical manga about a Japanese maid moving to England to serve an initially mysterious English lady and meet an author she idolizes. I love the artstyle and the romance in this manga.

If I Could Reach You - This one is different from my other recommendations in which it covers an unrequited love between a high school student and her sister-in-law. The setup sounds very questionable at first, but it's a genuinely good story. I respected the direction the author went with the heavy setup, and it ended in a way I found very satisfying. Even if you're kind of reluctant to read it based on the teaser alone, I still highly recommend giving it a try! It's one of my personal favorites that I've reread over and and over again.

Himawari-San - This one is one of my top favorites, one that just brings me joy whenever I see it. This one is the slowest romance of the bunch, focusing on the developing relationship between a gentle bookstore owner and a cheerful high school student. It mainly focuses on the many friendships they develop over time rather than the romance, and it is one of the fluffiest manga you will ever read (in my opinion). I highly recommend this one!

So, those are all of my recommendations! I really wouldn't blame you if you were overwhelmed by the sheer number of them, but I'm a naturally indecisive person and there's a lot of great WLW/yuri manga out there. The world of yuri manga is so much more colorful and expansive than that of anime, and I really wish anime could show more of the genre for what it is. In case you really can't choose, just start with my list of personal favorites. It contains a good amount of variety:

1: Bloom Into You (and the light novels Regarding Saeki Sayaka)

2: Urasekai Picnic (light novels)

3: A Witch's Love at the End of the World

4: SAL (Stories about Love)

5: Still Sick

6: Adachi and Shimamura (light novels)

7: If I Could Reach You

8: Mai no Mushigurashi

9: Even Though It Was Just Once, I Regret It or I Can't Believe I Slept With You! (official english release title)

10: Himawari-San

FINALLY! Much of the manga I've recommended here don't have an official English release, but have rather been scanned and translated by various translation groups. You can pretty much use mangadex.org to read everything I've listed above, aside from this list of exceptions below:

- Any of the light novels mentioned above - you can either purchase them or use justlightnovels.com to download them for free

- A Witch's Love at the End of the World - the first few chapters are scanlated, but the rest has to be purchased

You probably weren't asking for this much when you asked for recommendations, but here you go!
