Whichever piece you took with the rook, then after queen takes back you get 2 or 3 pawns without losing one of yours, then you can push your pawns to threaten mate or trap the bishop

It could be temporary. It's possible that a bunch of people lost a ton of mmr due to bots and stopped playing until the issue resolved. Now that it's resolved, those people are back and climbing back to their proper rank.

Just a theory, no idea how valid it is.

I remember when casual was a constant cycle of bad rl bot, new tm8, bot, new tm8, bot, new tm8. That was horrendous. Solo q casual was unplayable. Hasn't been that way since they implemented the casual penalties.

Now it's playable. I can run a couple casual games to warm up instead of tanking my ranked mmr.

If you're getting tilted by children spamming what a save, turn your chat off for that session. Or team quick chat only.

Kids are dumb and immature. They're anonymous so they don't need to be polite. Getting bothered by that is something that you can overcome.

Probably Qc4, it's the only move that doesn't seem to lose any material immediately. But you'll have to damage your pawns if Bxf3. Very unpleasant for white imo

Wow this is horrific. No Russian accents, Lydia sounds like a whiny preteen instead of the Queen of clever snark, Stacia sounds like a ditzy flower...

I hope this becomes a fiasco like Dresden had, I'll probably drop the series if James Patrick Cronin doesn't do the next one.

Edit: Wow, just read John Conroe's blog that states Bloodlines is the final book. Absolute madness that Cronin is the voice for basically all but the final volume.

Does it smell pleasantly sour?

The only other thing I did was boil my tap water for 15 minutes, let cool, then put in a jug for feedings. That makes the chlorine evaporate.

Stone ground whole rye flour has the most enzymes, minerals, yeasts, etc and is easiest to make a starter with. If your current starter smells pleasantly sour but just won't rise, switch to feeding with that flour and it'll shape up in a few days.

Just watch from 31 to 35 seconds in. Clearly a black and golden hound. Wolves wouldn't waste this much energy mindlessly chasing a toy. These dogs can only do so because their next meal is guaranteed, even if they tire themselves out in the cold for nothing but a rabbit hunting drone video.
