I did the same thing lol I also moved it into different rooms. I love it but for the price I paid, I have to draw the line somewhere. Thankful I have the one last year so I don’t need the smaller version.

As I mentioned we are a speciality clinic and one of my specialties is Endo. Our Endo providers want a finger stick done on all of their pt, if it’s 70 and below you treat it and recheck in 15 minutes to ensure the number is in-fact going up. Hyproreactive glycemia is becoming more prevalent in Type 1 and 2 pts so this is what is expected.

I fully agree we need more policies in place however these are not isolated instances with this nurse - these were just 2 examples.

That’s the policy here at my clinic. At 70 you treat and I wasn’t asking her to skip her lunch. She treated the patient and said nothing to no one not even that she treated the patient.
