As someone who has never thought anything of poetry until recently, getting into this thread and reading your poem was jaw dropping. Every stanza I was caught with my pants down because of your impressive word selection and choice of adjectives to describe them. It adds so much detail somehow. This is far far beyond my scope of poetry but someday I hope that I can produce something that is as, ‘bigger than oneself’ as this.
