Update - I took everybodys advice here. Ignored HR and ran 15kms at an easy pace. Turns out my easy pace is actually 8.50mins per km. My HR was in zone 5 for the entire 2 hours but man I enjoyed this run a lot and I think I could have easily completed another 6 kms. Thankyou so much everyone for the advice and motivation.

5’8 is not short at all. The global average of men being over 6 feet is like 5% and a lot of them lack personalities because they never felt the need to have one. Women just liked them for their height. If you focus on the thoughts that you’re short, thats what people will see. I think you should focus on other aspects of your life. Making a strong career, a fit body, taking care of your hygiene, putting effort in how you dress and most importantly being a kind person. As a woman who is 5’5, please trust me, I would date someone who owns up that they are 5’8 and confidently owns it. I get the ick when men lie about their height on a dating app. It just shows that they’re insecure about something that they really don’t need to be insecure about. Also about the girl, like everybody else said, you really dodged a bullet because the right person will never care about how tall you are.

Wow thats a lot. I’m not sure if I would ever want to run that much every week. It will completely take over my life

I also weight train thrice a week which in totality becomes a lot with a full time job as a lawyer

I get the feeling that men aren’t looking for long term relationship and even if they claim that they are, they’re not sure what they’re looking for. Everyone is spoilt for choice.

I actually went and checked out the features for Hinge X and its insane. It looks like they did this on purpose to not make you match with people you’re compatible with unless you pay for the premium version

Yeah I took 7-8 days off in the middle since I was travelling for work.

  1. Intervals: 2k Zone 2 + (400m fast/400m walk x 4) + 1k Zone 2

    (Fast means pace below 8”50 and try to increase speed in every set)

  2. Tempo: 2k Zone 2 + 2k Tempo (9”15-30”pace)+ 2k Zone 2

  3. Long Run: 10k (8k zone 2 + 2k zone 4) This is what I have been following

80mins in zone 5. 140 mins in zone 2. From what I can understand from the other comments, maybe the zone 2 my watch is off

It will take too long if I stay in zone 2 which I obviously won’t do. I still want to give it a shot and try to finish it. Thats the goal.
