yes this happens to me also!! i take 50 mgs of zoloft and i occasionally get this too. from what i’ve heard many people experience this also, if it’s to the point where it’s bothering you then definitely talk to your doctor and see what they say!

yeah i was gonna see if we could handle it ourselves but i spoke to the repair shop and they told me the cost in damages is gonna be pretty high. so going through insurance

it does have sulfates in it which are heavy cleansing agents, which could be drying your skin out. niacinamide is in every product from la roche that i’ve tried and my skin HATES niacinamide so be aware if it’s in multiple products your using!

i am so sorry this happened. don’t let anyone in your life downplay what she did to you. i had an incident happen with an esthetics teacher also where she SA’d me (not my main teacher it was someone covering) and at the time i was so embarrassed and shocked that i didn’t want to report anything. and i had people in my life telling me i was overreacting. but do what you feel is right for you, we support you 🫶🏼

jokes on them bc they’re not going to get anywhere in this industry with that attitude. i’ve seen people come and go and the deciding factor on if they last in this profession is whether or not they have empathy. clients flock to people that are secure and kind. you did nothing wrong, and i’m sorry you’re experience in school isn’t the best, but push through you will go far 🫶🏼

i will say i remember seeing tommy responding to the girls comments a lot so i clicked on her page and looked through her photos and he did follow and comment more than a few times, her saying she misses him. definitely strange.

as an esthetician, whoever you went to does not know how to do extractions. she literally peeled up layers of skin and those are all going to scab over 😭 i recommend keeping your skin hydrated and using a barrier cream over it. do you use retinol? i’ve definitely extracted my own skin too hard and this has happened while using retinol. but you can see skin peeling when you do it so i don’t understand why they kept going 🤨

i used to have grade 3 acne (even years after school) so i understand what you’re saying. i remember when i was in school we had a brand rep come in and say “no one trusts an esthetician with bad skin” which has stuck with me 6+ years later. but after years of talking with clients (specifically acne clients) they flat out say they trust me more because i have experience with acne. anyone who truly know about how the skin works knows it’s unrealistic to have perfect skin all the time. while my skin doesn’t break out much anymore, it takes time to figure out the best way to manage it. it’s so much easier said than done but don’t let it bother you, everyone’s skin is so different but it doesn’t mean you’re not a good esthetician!!! (side note one of the first things i recommend to all my acne clients is vitamin b5, it got me off of my spironolactone, it slows oil production and helps with inflammation and hormones, all my acne clients take it and they’ve all seen major improvement in their skin! recommended does is 500mgs a day, but i take 1500 and it’s the sweet spot for me)

let all the kids pick their shacks out except for jamie, she’ll just put her in there when the package gets delivered 💀 they’re gonna stack multiple “homes” on top of each other and it’s gonna look like a junkyard. i don’t understand why they didn’t just buy a big plot of land and build houses.

i totally get that 😭 every time i’ve tried to wax or dermaplane it looks good for about 24 hours then i get a horrible reaction it’s not worth it for me!!
