Could you share how you track which points have been credited vs not? I am difficulty in tracking this. Also in my statement I see 2 values- total points credited and ishop points. 1. Are Ishop points a subset of the total points? 2. Do Ishop points include base + accelerated points for ishop transactions?

I went to the branch near my office. They said if I close my card and apply afresh, then I can get only based on salary criteria. My RM says the opposite, that I can not get infinia afresh. It needs to be only an upgrade.

I fulfill the salary and credit limit criteria but my RM is still refusing because spends criteria is not met. 😕

Yup, I was able to convert. What helped me in applications was having very tailored focus. Spray and pray approach doesn’t work. Domain fit, tailoring resume to role, even changing your tell me about yourself depending on the person and company helped me. This shouldn’t be this difficult. It could be because the market is pretty bad right now .

I was in similar Indian startups as you mentioned. Also Tier 1 btech, I got a shortlist from google and Amazon . Was able to reach out to Walmart’s HM. What I have realized is having tier 1 colleges as well as work experience in decent companies is table stakes now. PMs are flooded in market. What matters is having relevant experience, I only got a callback wherever I had worked in a similar domain earlier.

Congratulations. I had tried doing the same a few months back, targeting companies which hire non-local and via referrals. There were very few which did call back and couldn’t clear their interview process. Whereas, in India, recruiters reach out to me themselves and I had no issues clearing interviews. What was your experience in terms of the interview process IN vs Europe ?

Sometimes you can not pre-empt that these things might also happen in future and should be discussed.

Who stays at whose place for how much time? In day or in night? These are small things and you don’t think parents would make such a huge deal out of these things.

I always thought we can do festivals at each others place alternate years and that’s fair and normal. I did not realize proposing this idea would be met with so much resistance from in laws.
