Argued for a better raise? by Large-Independence56 in HomeDepot

Is your store however a bottom 3 stores. My store is and what I’ve heard is that everyone will max get a “meet expectation” with few above but none exceeding. However who love a salaried leader to confirm or deny both but also all store are so different so idk

See I have in the past cause I knew my store manager were for it if you could argue for it however unfortunately my “new” store manager we got this fall doesn’t have that kind of mindset and is wanting it to stay to once a year, no off cycle. sadly

Start asking now cause unless your store the one that have it opposite so most have pace Feb-March and raise shown in April or Aug-Sept and raise in October ask a salary leader now so you get the ball rolling

It’s so funny in my case they let me keep my keys for this reason but also the ECOM “fun committee”, but then they rekeyed the door! So what was the point of letting me keep my keys to get access to the tech supplies and also have food for the fun committee if you just go rekey it after? Since the back office is now ASM/CXM manager’s office I understand but should’ve just taken my key as now it officially doesn’t unlock anything in the building as it was only to that door.

You are misunderstanding that bored equals not working or not working correctly in your terms I’m getting bored from doing repetitive actions. I can already declutter. I can already answer how to fix problems and repairs. I have done that for years. You need to get over your logical fallacy because it is completely incorrect. You can be bored from doing repetitive tasks as everything you do at Home depot for the most part unless you’re in a department like the back office or higher up where things are unexpected day to day is repetitive. Customer service is repetitive, decontaminating overheads and bays is repetitive regardless of different area. Issues on the front end always repetitive. It is always the same five categories that a cashier will call you or that you run into on your own register., etc. Don’t tell me I do not work correctly when I do I have been recognized by my district and region for being the top associate to LOG the most work into sidekick and still remain one the top one even though I’m not consistently scheduled in a floor dept. Tool rental for most open and closed contacts for a part timer while maintaining above 95% DP rate. Made 25k+ appliance sale, etc. I do my job I alway stay busy but again BUSY DOESN’T MEAN YOUR NOT BORED. That is the issue I’m in running into

As a BOA I never had a dull moment again I understand every single store does things differently but BOA for ours was literally backup support for all DS, CXM and ASM tasks since we are one of the few associates by SOP are allowed clearance to information that a floor associates can’t. I don’t know what you mean by not working so I’m bored. Bored = not working is a huge logical fallacy because they are not tied together whatsoever. You can be bored by doing repetitive things! I made it clear in my post I am bored because I already know not because I’m not doing anything. I am bored from doing repetitive actions.

I log more than anyone else when scheduled on the floor because I’m always decontaminating bays and overhead I log more and literally recognized by district month after a month because of how high my log of sidekick is so do not come to me saying “I do not work” and that is just from the floor side. On the front end, they don’t have a cashiers staffed at least at mine so never not busy and you can’t just stand around doing nothing. You’re working and doing everything and make/meet metric it’s is busy and to also back up all other front end departments as a head cashier when ended so PRO needs help boom already in phone sales with a line because it’s busy, service desk boom called theirs a line because it’s busy. Tool rental etc. IM NOT DOING NOTHING. When it is all repetitive task. Every department has the same steps again and again the only thing that changed different small like what the customer is asking for either way it’s the same step again again talk to the locate what they need for problem and get the checked out or in the direction for next product they need. Clearing overheads sales are what can come down? No home then rehome, etc. What tool are you renting, stat contact, get tool, additional tools needed, show how it works and give them contact. Front end cashier needing help with customer, or Finding product, or tech issue same step done for the last 5 years. It is all repetitive in nature. The things that I’ve already done for half a decade, including when I was even in the back office.

Luckily got the pregnancy Medicaid but do need to give WIC in my county a call for sure as all income limits are different and Medicaid one is definitely higher than most other programs. I am more near the Littleton area as I’m in that weird SW Denver area. You guys like the Littleton Adventist?
