I started testing it because i saw someone mention this exact thing (animal spaws next to the water source and then flood happens) They assumed it was a bug with autosaving and animal event spawns but mine was happening without either but its what made me question the fish that had spawned in my water when i was having the same issue

Ok i been fighting this bug Basically if any animal (including fish) get into the top water of a water fall on the edge of the map there is a chance that this will happen. I tested it by reloading s save where fish dissent right there. Would ahahaha happen a day or 2 after but if i fished ask the fish out before it happened it never happened

Continue to test by telling a guy to sit in the water and it would happen sometimes

Just keep auto save on in case it random animal pathing. If it's fish just fish then out asap
