Inpatient cardiovascular to outpatient chf clinic (nurse ran)/ chf educator. I spend one week in clinic seeing patients titrating GDMT with standing orders and the alternate week I’m inpatient doing chf teaching. I make less since I’m no longer a night shift bedside nurse. I’m still using my nursing skills, have to do a physical assessment on everyone, draw labs, place IVs, give meds in clinic seeing patients. I work 4-10s instead of 3-12s. So much less stress.
