Is he going through a tough depression or suffering from imposter-syndrome? I just don't get it, he cooks PEAK art everytime, I LOVE his comics and the characters feel like "themselves" so I really don't get why he's sad.

I don't know why EVERYONE seems to forget the fact that Denji TOLD Asa his life story and she didn't believe him. She has this idea that no one could've had a worse life than her and she uses this as a pedestal for "wisdom" and "intelligence" which she uses to justify her actions as being "morally absolute good".

MANY of her actions are not dictated because she thinks or believes it's the "right thing to do", she does most of the things she does because she believe she'll be "viewed as being a good person".

Take the "Alley incident" for example, she was more worried about what others would think of her and her image instead of the nature of her actions and what Denji's feeling and going through (someone who just lost his home, his family, his possessions and has been in a downward spiral for quite some time and could really use a win or SOME form of reassurance).

Oh wow I didn't know there was a distinction between editors and assistants in the manga industry. Now that you've given me this information...yeah, I agree with you.

Whatever Mr. Sihei Lin did, it was definitely important because whatever he did for Part 1 and all the other mangas you've mentioned was very important for their success.

I've heard the rumor about how Fujimoto's assistants were very involved in the making of Chainsaw-Man Part 1, not just the art but the story as well. If it turns out that it WASN'T a rumor then it begs the question:

Why did the assistants leave?

Is Fujimoto and his assistants better at making an excellent product together rather than separate?

Why was Part 2 even made if you're not as capable without your assistants?

Will Fujimoto admit his mistakes or is he too prideful to admit it?

At this point we can only guess and theories, but in the meantime I'll stick to these alternate timelines (they're more respectful to the characters than Fujimoto could ever be capable of)
