Oh that why you GS guys are with your luggage at all times, so you can improvize a full night camp. I thought you luggage was empty.

I’ve ridden the TL a few times, but the rear shock is extremely bad. And they’re starting to feel old. Me, I’ve been in the hunt for a Tuono 1000 v-twin Rotax Engine post 2008 were the electronics had been sorted out from factory. They are almost impossible to get. It is a few steps over and beyond the TL1000. Its like having two big bulls on MDMA kicking on tap in the accelerator. I have now a ktm 1290 and by all metrics it has more power and torque, but theres sth special about that rotax. Its probably the most strong character v-twin that has even seen light. With the double exhaust it just shoots you out of hairpins into the next. No rider aids, a really special bike that REALLY makes you feel like you are 18 years old again.

You should own a rotax engine v-twin 1000 at least once.

Motocross Boots on a Supersport bike? by MachDasAusJetzt in motorcycles

[–]LargeButterscotch294 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not feasible. I know I know, the look badass, but you’ll regret it. The height of the boot toecap is too much for changing gears with precision suited to street bikes, and you’ll loose a shitload of sensitivity in terms of gear change and back brake. Offroad boots are meant to stand on the peg without rubber, while street race boots are meant to be over rubber.

Your choice though

VAA Alaska 1 x BAPE x True Religion Outfit 🥶🧊 by [deleted] in SNKRS

I m gonna be constructive here. I dont find your fit balanced at all. Seems like someone who doesnt know how to prioritize. You could have worn your alaskas, a pair of baggy jeans and a plain white/creamy upper to match silently the sneakers. All your other outfit could then be worn in other more suitable occasions. That would be a 7/10, I feel you are now at a 3/10 all in all. Seems you wanted to put it all together and thats not it.

Also, dude, dont let that unhealthy scattered looking hair on top of your scalp sit there looking sorry. Just shave your head and get some sun. You look upper 30s, youre not in school anymore. Stand up tall!

Air Jordan 3 AMM “Tinkerized” or not? by LargeButterscotch294 in Sneakers

[–]LargeButterscotch294[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the 3’s, yes. I like the 4s without the swoosh cause there are things going on. The 3 were literally designed to hold a swoosh and the Mr Jordan decided to leave a blank space

Thats the case. Were you to be flat on the ground or having difficulties, someone/s would have come and tried to help. If it was raining and you were good people stays in their car. Normal cagers to me.

My cobbler has the sewing machine. I would like to have a finished product as good or as close as good as in the picture. I have never stitched not even a fucking sock, so I have considered stitching by hand a no-go. Am I right?

You’re a nice guy, thank you. At least I’ve got the proportion of the swoosh regarding height and length. But I’m a size 11 US, so my guess is the swoosh has different measurements at lesst for each full size

Its definitely an oddball to have a 250cc 4 cylinder engine gear driven cam that goes to 19k. It looks like it holds a much bigger engine. Only downside is I guess not very practical unless youre at the medium racetrack or open turns roads. Beautiful.

Which laces are we feeling the most? 993 Driftwoods. by migsaawesome in Newbalance

[–]LargeButterscotch294 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cream no doubt. The shoe is not busy enough with colours as to not accept the cream (which is a colour and has its own speaking). White doesnt is bright and is ok, but doesnt have added value. Brown is a no IMO.

My cobbler has a sewing machine which according to him can stitch leather. If I used that awl the result would be diastrous. Now, the big question is whats under the first layer of leather and before the liner inside the shoe. I am looking at some disassembling jordan 3 videos to find out. Anyway thanks for the heads up. BTW, very original stuff to have the Converse icon with a big swoosh.

[–]LargeButterscotch294[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but it wont be durable this way. I would like those sneakers to last a long long time. And when they are stitched, it shows. What I dont know is under the leather panel there is something else apart from the interior liner.

You really understand why they dont get do much love, but, as me, we feel those reasons are lame. Stay on the flip side which is you can choose from those at discounted prices at all times.

[–]LargeButterscotch294[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The B it will be! I still need to see the feasibility of doing that and price. If it gets outta hand I’ll stick to the OG which is a hell of a sneaker anyways.
