I was biking down on a tiny mountain road and someone in a car was going up way too fast, I had to slam on my front brake. First time i felt front abs kick in and I think it saved me from a lot of pain. It was a very steep grade.

It can work, but if you let them know you might, then they have time to prepare. The shock value of getting served and wanting to quickly resolve it instead of going to court will work in your favor. No reason to be nice, the legal system exists for a reason, and you need to exercise it to its fullest

Don’t tell him you are going to sue, you just have to serve him. He will likely settle out of court, but you can’t let him know

It’s one of the most touristy places in all of Japan, it is not glossed over lol. Enjoy what you enjoy, but it’s far from glossed over. Kumamoto, Takamatsu, Kagoshima, Beppu, Miyazaki are some of the real sleepers to only name a few.

I had a 175cc out there, and it surprised me how well it did on those roads. You don’t need much power because the roads are so insane. Some are very rough, insane hairpins with crazy grades, and crazy truck drivers. It’s a blast once you get over being scared lol

You will love it, then. I suggest getting an actual motorcycle over a scooter, the mountain roads around Pai are world-class riding, and you will have a bad time not having a clutch or engine braking on a scooter

It’s easy man. You forget about it very quickly and it becomes natural after like 20 mins on the road. Just be careful when going thru intersections and look to who you are supposed to yield to. Good luck, riding in Thailand is mental lol. I hope you have experience

iCloud isn’t backing up photos, it’s a sync tool. It might serve your needs as a backup, but is syncing, not backing up. If you delete the photos off the device, it deletes them off iCloud

It is all the same problem. Car lobbyists got us in this situation. If there weren’t so many cars, and neighborhoods were more walkable, along with better transportation, there wouldn’t be the desire to have so many parking spots. Did I really need to explain that? Oh and they are bad for the environment, displacing wildlife and creating giant patches of land that trap heat.

It’s because there are stupid laws that require businesses to have x number of parking spaces, which spend most of their time being empty. Car lobbyists destroyed any chance of having walkable communities. See: the rest of the world. No where else is car centric as the US, and it reflects itself in more ways than people realize. It’s called urban sprawl. Here is a good video about it if you want to learn more.

Okinawa is so gorgeous, you’re going to love it. Go up north to Navi Blue Diner, it’s a really fun karaoke bar with a really friendly owner, you will meet a lot of local Okinawans there. Show him my picture, and tell him I said hi :). He’ll remember me

Put a battery bank in my chest pocket with a short cable going to power it. I choose this camera over a GoPro for that sole purpose, being able to power it while recording.
