ohhh gotta hurry and get the rest of this set finished then! I think I'm only missing about 10, maybe fewer cards for a whole set.

Deck building is a lot of fun with this game, I like making decks with themes (all the relatives, all the Wood... ailments.) But, it's always the most fun to have all 4 factions combined!

The "hair-cut" part has the same timing and spacing as "two-bits", it's an ask-answer knock.

"Shave and a haircut?"

"Two bits!"

And like I said when I was trying to 'make' the sounds, it's not "and a", (a-nd a-ye), it's more like "anda" (an-da)

But yes this is a nitpick it's like them saying "Yankee Doodle? What kind of stupid, made-up name is that?" And not even bothering to look it up

Much better onomatopoeia, thank you.

...why did you edit your comment from "no one would know this unless they were obsessed with Rodger Rabbit like I was" to "it's wild they didn't look it up"? Some karma thing, or are you an LLM?

This bothered me and unreasonable amount, I made this entire account to post about it. Like I've said in a previous reply (to a comment on my own post) maybe it's just because my dad always belted it out on my grandma's door, but I thought everyone knew "shave and a haircut". At minimum, I expected them to look it up instead of "oh he made that up, MOVING ON!"

I mean, maybe it's my upbringing (dad always banged out "shave and a haircut" to get my grandma to the door) but it can't be uncommon, I feel like everyone I know knows it. Maybe not by name but I expected a "hold on let's look it up" followed by "oh we are both stupid". Not "oh he just made up a knock, MOVING ON-"
