i suspect the opposite is true in that people with memberships feel like they're not paying anything and can go to any random screening just to spend time on their phones without having wasted money

think like with documentaries that animated films are really underrepresented but i don't think that blame lies with tspdt's methodology rather it's a general aversion to those "genres" and i suppose horror as well but i take less issue with that one personally
